List of Afc Urgent Care Ne Portland's Reviews
Dr Lyle and staff are helpful and do a great job.
Don’t bother making an appointment, doesn’t matter. These people are all over the place and letting walk-ins go ahead of people with appointments
I have been in a tiny little room for an hour and a half waiting for a five minute appointment. I am still here, still waiting. This is typical of this facility. If you can go *anywhere* else, absolutely do so. They are kind people but their inefficiencies are baffling.
This might be the best urgent care in town. I came in with a dog bite and was seen incredibly quickly and all staff were so kind, caring and funny. My stitches were also top notch and done with great precision and care. Truly a wonderful experience during such a painful situation.
This has been the worst urgent care, and the worst communication issue with a clinic, that I have ever experienced. 1. I called and set up an appointment to establish care and refill my standing prescriptions because I had moved states. I was told, by the hub, that AFC can refill psych meds, and that I could even establish psych services until I establish with a primary care provider. I was told that AFC has primary care providers. None of this was true; I was barely able to get my most basic medications filled, and I got a lot of attitude about it. 2. I had a virtual appointment because I have Covid. I was told by the PA that if I didn't feel better in 48 hours, I should come into the clinic for a physical check up. This was confirmed when I made the appointment; I even offered to send a copy of my positive Covid test and was told this was not needed. 3. Turns out, AFC can't see people with Covid in person. I'm very lucky I got a ride, because I would have had to stand in the rain while this was figured out. A PA was nice enough to come out and listen to my lungs and prescribe me an inhaler, while still giving me attitude about the refills. The fact that two people, one PA and one person at the hub, violated AFC's Covid protocals by scheduling me, is bad. The fact that I, a person with Covid, had to have an exam in the rain and then spend the next hour with wet socks, is bad. I would recommend that absolutely no one come here; the fact that remote appointments are held in what looks like a call center communicates a lot about the style of medicine being practiced here. They also misgendered me the whole time; this is not a safe space for nonbinary or trans people. Edit: Hi Dan, you waited 7 months to respond to this which is funny because 2 months ago you offered me a job and were legit offended that I took a different position. I even referenced this experience in my interview and you are apparently so desperate for admin staff you tried to hire me anyway. So, are you a safe place for trans people? Do you read your reviews? I mean, at least we know you can trash the place here and still get hired so I hope your employees feel empowered.
Nevermind, extremely misleading pricing. Turns out it costs over $800 for an STI test. After paying them hundreds of dollars I get a bill later for $500 from LabCorp (I was in no way informed that the total for all this testing would be nearly this much). Insane that our medical system has come to extorting money like this
Unprofessiona, didn't follow the procedure to submit my DOT drug test for my captains license. Wrote the wrong information on my control form and 10 days later the MRO still has no record of my test. They provided the wrong address and wrong phone number, wrote the wrong number where my SSN was to be put. After assuring me that this was regularly done there, they took my money. Made me wait an hour, we're rude, and then said don't be calling us we have nothing to do with this. Clearly they have received calls and didn't say so because the forms were so poorly filled out it couldn't even be found in the system. I will have to redo this test now and my time is running out on a 8 year process to become a USCG captain. Not to mention the 69.95$ I paid them. FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHIN! SO go to LEGACY Hollywood if you need fast testing. it's often the same day. I want a refund and my time back. The MRO EVEN SAID OH NO THATS YOUR PROBLEM YOU WENT TO AFC!
This was a great experience. The wait time was really short and the service was excellent. Way better than any other urgent care I've ever went to, and the assistant/doctor was very thorough and extremely nice. Definitely going back to that location if I ever need to. Thank you, oh and the check in was nice and easy too.
All the staff members were very kind and helpful. I feel very fortunate to have these folks available to me!
Kind and nice everyone was great

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
