Thank goodness I stumbled upon BBH by doing a Google search. 😅 John Benson and the services he has connected me with have been invaluable. Kudos to their IOP business model, having students be in charge of sessions, along with a professional staffer engaging in the background. The structure for this (new) pathway is surprisingly effective. The counselors all provide kind support and are greatly appreciated! 👏 P.S. You will need to dig deep and put in the work! It's SO worth it!

Went in for an initial evaluation. They didn't bill me for 3 weeks, but then 3 weeks after my appointment they billed me twice for the one appointment I'd been to.

Mr. Benson is an excellent healthcare provider! I started seeing him when my mental health took an extreme turn for the worst and he was quick to respond to my issues. He always listens to my concerns and is super empathetic and understanding. He responds without judgment and works to connect on a personal level without being awkward. And he has a great sense of humor! I recommend making an appointment with him if you are unsure of what your next step with your mental health will be!

I recommend John Benson wholeheartedly. He is professional, knowledgeable, and to the point, but kind and reasonable at the same time. I've struggled for a very long time to find a psychiatric provider who really listens. After a lifetime of feeling dismissed and placated, I found someone who is really willing and able to help me, and am feeling better than I ever have, truly.
