I owe a massive debt of gratitude to the entire Cascade team (especially to my incredible technician, Nick) for everything they have done for me. Insurance hurdles were abundant, and Nick and the whole team never backed down from fighting on my behalf. I received some of the best care I've ever had and I am so appreciative for them helping me get my life back. I feel healthier and more like myself now and am finally feeling ready to get back into the swing of all things life. I hope everyone who is seeking care for their depression/anxiety are able to gain some respite through Cascade, I sure know I did. Thank you to my wonderful care team, you made such a difference and I am so grateful.
My daughter is dead. This is, I firmly believe, due to the uncaring behavior and medical mismanagement of a fragile, beautiful woman with so much potential. Jill Gladdish should consider that the people in her care deserve much than she can provide.
I would just like to express my gratitude to everyone at Cascade TMS for their touching support especially Kathe and Brittany. They were so crucial in my recovery. I cannot thank them enough. I am better now and they are a big reason why.
When I first posted a review, all I did was put one star with no commentary. I received a "response from the owner" giving me the number of Dr. Olsen, the psychiatrist's office, suggesting I call them to discuss. When I called that number, left a message, I then received a phone message from the office manager telling me Dr. Olsen and TMS are two separate entities (although Dr. Olsen's photo is all over the Cascase TMS website.) I returned that call to explain, but never received a response. So now I am posting the details of my one star review, because I would NOT recommend Cascade TMS and there are better, more responsive treatment centers than this one. I believe that TMS is a legitimate treatment and I was looking forward to an informational meeting after my initial telephone call to the this service. However, the lack of attention to detail did not engender confidence. The external building had no address number to identify it; the lobby had no signage for Cascade; nor did the third floor when I got off the elevator. They told me they were there for more than two years: surely a sign could be expected. There was no reception person available in the one space that appeared to be a reception area, but there was no signage or clue that this was Cascade and there was no one to ask. (it was 2pm not lunch time) The building apparently has prefurnished offices available for rent, and since most of them were open but unoccupied, I noted that all were sparsely furnished, identically, (including the office I finally had an interview in.) I was 15 minutes late due to difficulty finding the place...but I had called from my car two or three times to inform them of my difficulty. There was only the prerecorded greeting with no way to get in touch although I did leave two messages and my phone number. The Cascade employee who I finally found behind an office door I entered without knocking, was startled to see me. On questioning, she admitted that she had not checked the "waiting room" because she "thought the "receptionist" would call her. She tried her best to pull herself together and apologize, however all the information she provided after this was scattered, inconsistent, and unhelpful. I was angry, but very civil although I asked hard questions. She told me she was the "technician" that did the treatments and the "insurance expert." She was on the verge of tears although she did her best to be professional. She told me she would check my insurance for coverage and would contact me the next day, but I did not hear from her. When I called to check back a couple of days later, she a) told me she had emailed me the info which had not arrived for some reason that I can't explain because when she re-sent it, it did arrive; b) her email stated that my AARP United Medicare Advantage insurance did not cover because Dr. Olsen, the psychiatrist, was not able to accept Medicare. This was patently false because I had checked before I made the appointment and it was the insurance that referred me to Cascade and Dr. Olsen. I have since decided to go with a different provider of TMS (there are not that many in Portland however) and received far better service. The experience felt like it was a "side hustle" rather than a legitimate, treatment center and that costs and service and personnel were being cut short. As I said, I believe that TMS is a legitimate treatment that can help and be trusted, but that is not the impression this office and my experience provided. What concerns me the most also is that while Dr. Olsen, a psychiatrist, is posted all over the TMS site, Dr. Olsen's "other" psychiatric treatment office stated that he was not associated with TMS. I would NOT recommend this clinic primarily because of this nebulous connection between technicians and the psychiatrist, the unwillingness to follow up and speak directly with me (both Cascade TMS and Dr. Olsen) and a mental health treatment provider clinic should be MUCH more responsive to its patients and potential clients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
