Dr.Wooley has been taking care of me since I trashed my body at U.P.S. He did 2 Ulnar Nerve Transpositions on me and still manages to keep letting me in. I trashed my elbow in a fall on the ice this winter and hes right there to help me get my arm back. Plus, added bonus hes handsome! Just saying...
Where is the negative star button? Terrible doctor. I had a scheduled appointment and saw three patients after go right in without having to wait the hour like I did. What a wonderful doctor making his patient wait an hour and still does hlnot seem them. I was soooo stupid enough to wait the full hour. How does doctors like these stay in business??? I would heed the advice of mine and all the other bad revires for this doctor for they are true.
What a horrible doctor. Every time i saw him he acted like he was on some kind of speed, never listen to what i had to say and he lied to Workmans comp to get himself a paid-for surgery that i didnt need that got me dumped. He doesn't care for his patients, all he cares about is money.
Hands down awful, rude, and the most unprofessional medical experience I've had in my life! Woolley spent less than 5 minutes with me, he glanced at what I put on my paperwork and said you need to stop doing what you do to aggravate it. I asked him about exercises or what exactly it was so I could treat it correctly, he told me to Google it. He didn't examine my wrist or elbow, he just spoke to me condescendingly for less than 5 minutes. Said you can brace it if you want. I could hear him speaking to other patients who were sadly elderly women in the rooms next to me the same way. The nurse came in and asked what he diagnosed me with, when I let him know he told me to Google it he kind of rolled his eyes and said he would write a general elbow condition for my PT orders. I let them know the PT office I prefer going to, and they gave me a prescription for therapy for someone who hasn't worked in that office for almost three years.I had horrible pain in my elbow that I wanted to get answers on. There is a reason he had availability so quickly. I have since seen OHSU doctors and a doctor at a private clinic. None of the professionals including the PTs I've seen have never even heard of Woolley.Don't waste your time or money here. You won't get help, he is a disgrace to the medical profession.
Worst doctor visit of my life. Dr. Woolley spent the entire time I was there yelling at his assistants to convince another patient to get surgery before the end of the year. He was too worried about the big surgery pay day to give my wrist any thought. Then when he finally did, he asked “so, what do you want to do?”. I don’t know doc, you’re the professional.Lastly, he had me sit in an exam room, where he never visited me and had me wait. His assistant eventually can in and was surprised to see me there. They wanted me to get a MRA by a 3rd party. Assistant said they probably wouldn’t contact me after unless it was really bad, but likely I wouldn’t hear from them. Wow...give me a freaking break. Go somewhere else, somewhere where you are actually treated as a person, not a pay day.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and am not to the point where I need a surgeon. But Dr Woolley has been more helpful that any doctor I have seen, to make sure that I don't get to the point that I need surgery. Always willing to help me out with my concerns even though I am pretty sure they are beyond what he, as a surgeon, focuses on.
Emergency doctor sewed up my thumb joint after a car accident, but recommended I see a hand surgeon. My primary care physician sent me to Dr. Woolley. Surgery was quick, no pain, even with my having to clean and turn the joint pin daily. I now have 100% mobility in my thumb!!
DR. Woolley is a wonderful doctor in many ways very understanding, helpful, and very much so for the patient, not the insurance companies. I would and have recommended DR. Woolley to anyone with hand/arm problems.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
