List of Daniel Rohrer's Reviews
I will join the many other patients here in singing the praises of Dr. Rohrer. I had TERRIBLE leg pain for 6 months, not allowing me to sleep even, due to an L4-5 disc herniation. He fixed me 100% and I am a new person. I have no pain and can exercise again and the best thing, I can sleep all the way through the night. If he thinks he can help you with surgery, there is no better person. I am so grateful to him and Don, the PA; they take such great care of you. I am a physician and I can attest--he's the one all the docs go to when they need surgery. HIGHLY recommend!
What can you say about a man who gives you your life back. He took a 3 yr old failed surgery and turned it into an recovery and a normal life. He has done surgery on 6 friends of mine and now me. All of our results have been nothing short of incredible. There are always variables in spine surgery but having Dr. Rohrer as surgeon removes many. Shawn. L5s1. ALIF
After years of pain from sciatica, multiple steroid shots and decreased mobility, I went to Dr. Rohrer who was recommended by one of my treating physicians. Dr. Rohrer performed a double spinal fusion to address my stenosis and spondylolisthesis among other problems. Although I was nervous about the prospect of a double fusion, Dr. Rohrer explained the procedure thoroughly. I could not be happier with the result. The surgery was over a year ago. I am able to walk for miles, hike and bike with no pain and good range of motion. Dr. Rohrer and his entire team were extremely professional and gave me all the information I needed prior to and after surgery. I would recommend Dr. Rohrer to anyone who is experiencing spinal issues that may require surgery.
I have had debilitating back and leg pain for over a year. Dr Rohrer performed surgery on my back on Thursday and the next day I had less pain than before the surgery. Can’t say enough good things about Dr and his staff. Highly recommend him. He is also has a good bedside manner.
Dr Rohrer did a great job on my microdiscectomy and gave very clear explanations beforeand after surgery. The pre and post op information provided by the text system his office has in place was extremely helpful and a great reference source during recovery. I would go to him for a future surgery if I need one or recommend a friend to him.
Outstanding surgeon. Proposed a treatment plan for my serious spine issues, did exactly what we had discussed, knew what to expect during and after surgery. Procedure was a total success. The best care I could have hoped for. I recommend Dr. Rohrer with 100% confidence. The only spine surgeon I will ever see. K Langeler
I want to thanks to Dr. Rohrer the successful operation on my neck. I was 100% trust him after first visit did not get 2nd opinion to decide the surgery. The surgery was 7 months ago I am very pleased with the result. Thank you again. Cathy Chao
Dr Roher’s offuce is one of the most unorganized and unprofessional group I have dealt with in a very long time. 3mo ago I called and sched an appt. the scheduler got treason i wwanted an appt all switched around and so the ‘evaluation’ committee refused my request for an appt. I re-explained my situation& eventually got an appt for 2 mo out the day before my appt the sched called and said i was too obese and the dr wouldn’t see me. The sched said i was obese 7 times in a 5 min call.
Dr Rohrer and his team did a very complicated surgery for me. They removed three meningiomas. The larger one was in the cavernous sinus and was wrapped around the carotid artery and pressing on the optic nerve. The surgery lasted over 8 hours. After narly three years the tumors have not returned. I have great trust in Dr Rohrer knowledge and skill.
Daniel Rohrer is the Best Neurological Surgeon in Portland. I have had to back surgeries by him. He is truly one of a kind the best in his field & with out him I do not feel I would be walking today.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
