“Dr. R” has been excellent in all regards. It is a great relief to have her medical care. And, when we later thought we may have a non-medical family emergency underway, her staff understood at once and gave us immediate assistance, even though we and they knew our concern could turn out to be in error. It did finally prove to be our error, but the staff were so professional, quick and clear-minded, we could not have hoped for better assistance from anyone in what could have been a dire emergency.

The Couple of times that I spoke to Dr, R were pleasant (only once in person), but getting a return phone call, getting lab results without repeated office calls...not going to happen! I had lab tests done on August 3rd and have yet to receive a call back and it's August 21st!! I have left 2 messages with "Katie" who seems to be genuinely put out and annoyed that you called. I have never felt less important to any physician or their staff in my 50 years. Very Disappointed!

Dr R is an excellent endocrinologist. I had a 5.4 A1C by the time I gave birth and our son is perfect thanks to her. What is far, far from perfect is her nurse Kim. This woman could not write a request for auth to an insurance company if her life depended on it. I LITERALLY had to write it and bring in supporting docs myself. Kim ruined an extraordinary doctor-patient relationship by her lack of education and experience and class. I agree with other reviewers - she is the Worst. Too bad.

I agree about the staff. When I wanted to get a second opinion at OHSU and asked them to send my records they refused and said they did not do referrals. I explained I was not asking for a referral because I already had an appointment. However I needed the tecords for the doctor to review. i ultimately showed up at the office and demanded a copy of my file. I never went back, because I don't want a doctor who doesn't want 2nd opinions.

Dr. R is GREAT, NOT her staff! Far too many bad experiences to list! Dr. R is very thorough & personally called me to explain diagnosis/treatment options. But, 2 sets of crucial lab results literally took 2 WKS to learn! I asked Kim if she thought the delay was acceptable, she said "time to move forward". Katie, who NEVER answers phone told me when I was urgently referred to Dr. Chamberlain "there's no such thing as an emergency in Endocrinology". Molly/Patience Services ALWAYS act put out.
