Very, very kind and personable physician. Great bedside manner. Listens, adds input whenever necessary, is not dismissive in anyway. Comes across as a very caring and kind physician who is genuinely interested in helping you and wants to do whatever he can to do so. Highly impressed and would recommend to anyone needing to see a cardiologist.

Dr. Rosenthal is one of the best doctors I've ever met. He has the biggest heart and always gets me to smile even when I'm not in the mood. This man is smart and again is a blessing in the people he comes in contact with. I appreciate this guy in more ways that words can't express.

I have to say that be is one of the best doctors you could ever ask for. This guy is kind and respectful. He isnt like other doctors who forget your face, no this guy remembers you and makes you feel assured in his ability to help you. He's a blessing

I was referred to Dr, Rosenthal after having an emergency hospitalization and diagnosed with Diastolic Heart Failure & other cardiac complications. Dr, Rosenthal is great at putting me at ease. He spent a significant amount of time educating me about my heart problems & the additional tests he recommended. He tried to give me hope about my situation, but was straight forward about the prognosis so I understood that while there was no cure there were ways to prolong my life as well as the quality of the time I had left. He performed a cardiac cath. during which pulmonary hypertension was diagnosed. I was awake during the entire procedure & he kept me informed about the findings. I trusted Dr. Rosenthal the most of all the specialists I was seen by & felt we had a great partnership. Unfortunately, after a year, he abruptly left the clinic he was affiliated with and no longer practices in Oregon, so I had to find a new cardiologist. I really wish he would see patients still in the Portland area, because the cardiologist I have now pales in comparison to Dr. Rosental. I miss his sense of humor & ease with which he interacts with patients.

Both of my parents have went to him for several years. We have never meet a more honest or concerned Dr. He has saved their life more then once. If you need a cardiologist you cannot go wrong here.
