List of Eric Hansen's Reviews
I had a hip replacement in 2018. anterior surgery. From the first day post op i had so much pain moving my leg laterally. This Only got worse and with inability to move or sleep. Dr Hansen indicated after surgery that my hips were the same length, later he told me he was sure he told me it was 5mm to long. actually it was 10 mm. When I questioned who did the surgery ie fellow or resident ? He said he usually places the implant. Well I had to have a revision Because of leg length Since it was over 2 years with a leg that was too long it is questionable it will ever be right. I can not go up stairs or walk any distance. Would have been helpful if sometime in the 2 years of unresolved Issues a review of what was done Might have brought the leg length issue up sooner than 2 years.
Very detailed and explained the examination in full
My wait time for my appointment was very short. The assistant was competent & friendly. Dr Resnick was also. It was a satisfactory experience.
I previously saw Barbara Resnick for my dermatology needs, but changed to another doctor because Resnick was curt and sarcastic and acted like she was God’s gift to the practice of dermatology. Plus, the wait time was ridiculous. A friend of mine (Beth) still sees her. My friend called me the other day, COMPLETELY upset!!!! She had a scheduled appointment with Resnick ~ when the nurse got her to the exam room, Beth removed her clothes, put on the gown and waited and waited and waited. 35 minutes later, Resnick finally made it into the exam room. Resnick asked her how she was, Beth said something about not being so great because she had to wait so long and Resnick replied that she had been performing a procedure. Beth responded that she, herself, did what she was supposed to do by showing up at the scheduled time of her appointment and that Resnick did not. Resnick replied (this is a quote), “If you don’t like the way I run my practice, you’re welcome to find another dermatologist”. REALLY? All Resnick had to do was acknowledge that she’d left Beth waiting ~ Beth didn’t need anything other than a nod about the time she was kept waiting. Resnick either doesn’t know how to manage her time for procedures, or doesn’t care. I have to believe that Resnick would be 35 minutes behind schedule all remaining patients that day would have to wait. This is the reason I stopped seeing her ~ she acted like her time was FAR more important then mine. She acted entitled and snobbish. If you’re looking for a dermatologist, stay far away from this one.
I was very impressed with staff and my doctor at The Oregon Clinic. They explained ahead of time what they were going to do at my appointment very well. The parking was easy as was the access to the building.
Excellent! I felt heard and respected. My questions were answered. Dr. Resnick communicated clearly and told me what she was doing and what she saw.
Check in is always efficient here, and the waiting room is never crowded. Seats were marked off to encourage social distancing. The appointment went quickly, and Dr. Resnick was friendly, fast, and present. I trust the experts here with my derm care. Recommend!
My teenage daughter and I both had appointments with Dr. Resnick. My daughter saw her for acne, and I had a mole check, a cyst looked at and a scar treated. The whole visit went very smoothly and we felt listened to.
Professional friendly staff and doctor.
Dr. Hansen not only saved my husband's mobility, he likely saved his life. Husband was diagnosed with prosthetic joint infection after hip revision surgery with another provider who did not feel confident to proceed. Husband was also about to begin treatment for leukemia so the odds weren't great. Dr. Hansen performed a two stage revision after clearing infection. His confidence coupled with compassion was OVER THE TOP incredible. Forever grateful for this man to take his case. Writing this 3+ years later as we are now needing a "Dr. Hansen for knees". Wish I could wiggle nose and make that happen. I recommend him and his team without hesitation. PJI's are serious stuff and again, Hansen's ability to take on the challenge AND bring human kindness to the table are unsurpassed.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
