Can we say, LOST? Having immense knowledge and subsequent publication of articles and podcasts on copious areas of mental health as a journalist since 2006, I contacted this place in connection with obtaining a simple, common prescription that one can literally go to their PCP for. And did. I was humored, however, when told by the receptionist that, they do NOT provide appointments for "geriatric" patients. First, I am a vital, active, professional with a serious following and a "mature" glamour model to showcase the beauty of older women. Second, if a provider holds this cognitive bias and draws this ageism line in the sand, they're typically not foolish enough to admit it. Let's hope the schools turning out nurse practitioners are doing a far better job than this place demonstrates. Otherwise, we're all in trouble.
