My name is Susan Kawata...(my phone has it wrong) Dr. Craven is the ultimate, absolute best surgeon. He did surgery on my inguinal hernias on both sides, at the same time. He is a perfectionist with his work, and he gives great care for the feelings of his patients. My incisions are totally not visible. I was able to move around to do normal activities, within reason, pretty much after the first 2 days. I took my grandson to the coast and went swimming every day after 5 days. It's now been 4 weeks and I feel great. The hospital was great, staff were fabulous, everyone was so accommodating and totally understood my sensitive and humorous nature..I am really most thankful that Dr. Craven was my surgeon, and very thankful to all the wonderful staff.. 🙂. I was admitted to Meridian Park on Friday night for a gall bladder emergency, but there were no beds available. Dr. Craven was then called in to perform surgery on Saturday. He met with me before hand and explained the surgery, preferring to perform a "scope", without having major incisions. The surgery went perfectly,with only tiny incisions and I immediately improved. Dr. Craven has my eternal gratitude.

Everyone was friendly and I was seen by Dr. Craven at my scheduled time. Dr. Craven is wonderful. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon. Even though we had just met in the hospital, he made me feel confident and assured. My surgery went better than expected and I am so glad that Dr Craven was called in on my case. Thank you!

Dr. Craven was surgeon who recently removed my gallbladder. it was my first "real" surgery and I am very satisfied with over all experience, including before operation and follow up. Would recommend Dr. Craven if given a choice.

Dr Craven was a great listener at my initial consultation, which I find is the best predictor of how successful our medical relationship will be. He heard me out as far as my concerns, pain issues related to s as prior surgery and all of my concerns. The surgery went well and he called me personally when I had some pain issues a week out...would recommend 100%

Doctor Craven was one of the best communicators I have ever had in a doctor patient interaction. He took time to listen to me and give me time to accept my condition that did require surgery. Dr. Craven performed laparoscopic surgery to repair my inguinal hernia two weeks ago. The operation took place at the Oregon Clinic across from Legacy Meridian Hospital. The nurses, staff, anesthesiologist, and Dr. Craven were all appropriately informative and personable. I was in and out within four hours. Most important to me, the work done by Dr. Craven was top notch. He has the right equipment, staff, facilities, education, experience, and age. I highly recommend Dr. Craven.
