Jeffrey V. Manchio's Online Review Report Card

I called the office to schedule my post operation appointment, and they picked the date, which was at 4 week. When I got to the appointment dr. Manchio started to lecture multiple time that I shouldn't have a post appointment until 6 weeks. This should have been an issue he brought up with the scheduling staff who booked my appointment. My employer supported me taking additional time off, when I asked for a note, without even asking me what I do for living he said he wouldn’t extend my leave from work. Very condescending when explained why I needed More time Off to heal.

Dr. Manchio is very condescending. Did not want to help me take time off of work to continue to heal. Without asking me what I do for work said would not extend my leave. Also his staff set up my post operation appointments and he got mad at me for coming in at 4 weeks instead of 6 weeks, not my fault his staff didn’t know how far out to make the appointment.

Malpractice it's best. I went in because of rectal bleeding and his 1st diagnosis was hemorrhoids, ruling out a fistula. He said I could get a colonoscopy just to be sure, but insisted that what I had was hemorrhoids. I believed him since I am no doctor. This man and his staff have saved my life 3 times now.. Very well educated dr. And a caring dr. While doctors were just blowing me off this man saw a problem and fought till the hospital agreed to help me. I dont feel you could find a better dr.

Dr. Manchio is an excellent surgeon with superb people skills. He made my pre-surgery and post-surgery visits very comfortable, carefully explaining the details of my procedure, risks and desired outcome. I am happy with the results of my surgery and am recuperating well.

Dr. Manchio and his staff were incredibly professional, informative, and made me feel comfortable throughout my entire treatment. I particularly loved his nurse that prepped me for my initial office visit, she was excellent at calming my nerves. My surgery was successful, my pain was tolerable, and I healed nicely with no infection. I received texts daily to check on my progress, but didn't see them the first week because my phone sent them to spam, so check your spam folder after surgery. I would highly recommend his office.

Great doctor (plus the nurses), horrible office. I would have changed doctors by now and if I weren’t already so far into the process.
