Jeremy P. Bauer's Online Review Report Card

Our daughter has Down syndrome and complex orthopedic issues. We had been to multiple Orthopedic Surgeons in the Portland area and were told that no one in Oregon could take her case. We resigned to the fact we’d most likely have to take her to Boston Children’s Hospital or St. Louis. We finally decided to get one more opinion from Dr. Bauer at Shriners. We are so grateful we found him! He has already performed one of her surgeries and she has recovered 100% and is stronger than ever. He is very professional, kind, and reliable. We feel confident in using Dr. Bauer for her future surgeries and his logical approach to her care is very reassuring. It also helps that our daughter is his #1 fan which says a lot. She knows he is the only one capable of helping her.

We had a great visit and the surgery was successful with no complications.

My daughter has very complex medical needs due to cerebral palsy. We have seen hundreds of doctors over her nearly ten years. Dr. Bauer is one of our favorites. He is one of the top doctors in the orthopedic field. He makes wonderful connections with the patients and their families, and explains everything in a way that helps to include them in all the important decisions. For us, he plays a critical role in establishing a plan of care to enable my daughter to gain skills that nobody every dreamed possible for her.

Every time we go, we have the best time. He listened to my concerns from previous experiences elsewhere. His team made sure to take care of my son and me in turn, limiting my anxieties around my son's surgery. It has been over 2 years since my son's surgery and I have absolutely no complaints about Dr. Bauer or his team. We come from 6 hours away and he always takes his time to ensure all my questions, comments, and concerns are answered.

Dr. Bauer is friendly, informative, and always answers any questions. My daughter looks forward to seeing Dr. Bauer and his team! She even looks forward to surgery and all the friendly faces at Shriner's.

Dr. Bauer has done great things for our daughter. She always looks forward to seeing him. He is great with partients and explains things in a way that we can understand.

I love Dr. Bauer. He has worked with our emily and her club foot since she was one week old. He always makes sure all my questions and concerns have been addressed at each visit. He is very kind and gentle with emily. He explains what he is looking for and what he sees in her foot as it is being corrected. I would highly recommend Dr. Bauer.

Our family has spent a lot of time at Shriners, from therapy, orthotics and equipment to surgeries and we are so grateful to have such a wonderful facility in our area. Dr. Bauer and his team are especially wonderful! We see a lot of different doctors but never had one with such a warm and caring bed side manner. He truly cares and puts your mind at ease, whether its for our annual check up, a broken bone or a major hip surgery. Thank you Dr. B!!!!

Dr. Bauer and his staff was amazing with our son and us as a family. We will definitely return for any of pur childrens orthopedic needs. We live hours away from his office and they made schedualing easy. Families have access to a game room, overnight stays, etc. Definatly reccomend! !

We have loved our experience here at Shriners hospital, and are very thankful that we had Dr. Bauer throughout our clubfoot journey with our baby. He genuinely cares about us and is so great with our little one. He has handled our baby's care with compassion and delligence with great attention to detail.
