After several visits with multiple doctors, I was referred to Dr Jessie Keller in Dermatology at OHSU. Dr Keller, Dr Knapp and staff are the most passionate and caring group I have ever seen. I had been dismissed, humiliated and misdiagnosed by several prior doctors I had seen. When my appointment date came with Dr Keller I was nervous and a bit apprehensive due to my past experiences. I drove to OHSU Dermatology, which is approximately 3 hours from my home town. The drive was worth it. The staff made me feel human again, nonjudgmental and listened to ME. I had been told I was delusional, crazy and my symptoms were impossible, before walking into Dr Keller’s office. Within minutes of my first appointment, I received a diagnosis, an actual name of my disease and a treatment plan. I was put at ease knowing i could walk out of this office with a glimpse at having a normal life again. Dr Keller in my opinion is one of the top leading doctors in the study of Morgellons disease. I have been fortunate enough to have found him and his staff. My treatment plan will take time, but I have a future to look forward to. I finally feel I have a Team who are working for me, with me, to get my life back. They listened to me where many of my previous doctors dismissed me and my symptoms. If I have any concerns or questions I can contact the office and literally almost immediately I hear back from one of the staff, which is often unheard of at other offices I had experienced. I recommend Dr Keller to ANYONE. Especially those who have been dismissed by other physicians in the past. If it is possible they will find a way to make it happen. It is happening right now for me. Thank you Dr Keller for believing in me, you have truly been a blessing.
