I was referred to Orthopedic and Fracture Specialists and to Dr. Compton to discuss surgery. Dr. Compton asked good questions and probed for information that led to a decision to move forward with the procedure. While she can be a little abrupt, she is not offensively so and I left with an overall good impression of her skills and abilities. I was assured that I would soon be contacted to schedule the surgery. However, it has now been over three weeks since that appointment and having used the messaging system at her office to no avail, I called the office today to ask if she could call me back. The receptionist told me that "her phone isn't working" (?) and said she would send a note about the issue. Dr. Compton's clinic is a busy place, but leaving a patient waiting for over three weeks seems to be a little unreasonable. As other's have also complained about difficulty arranging appointments, I'm forced to assume that this is typical, rather than out of the ordinary.

Dr Compton took her time explaining my problem & provided the options I had available along with benefits & risks. She answered my questions throughly. Her smile immediately put me at ease & she was very through going over the history of my condition. I recommend her highly.

Was seen very quickly. That's rare in my experience and greatly appreciated. Received a cortisone shot in my hand and I had no pain by that evening. Hallelujah!
