Kathryn Baker's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr Baker after getting a positive ANA after the birth of my first daughter. I waited several months to get to see her. She gave me no more than 15 minutes. I had a lot of inflammation in my joints but was inconclusive. I told her I was worried about having a second child since I had read autoimmune issues can get worse after a second birth. I was told that I had nothing to worry about, have babies she said. Here I am two years after my second and diagnosed with severe osteoporosis at 44. Dr Baker is a reflection of how sick our medical system is. Had I been told what my inflammation can do in my body, or that maybe I personally should not do extended breastfeeding, I could have made better choices. I am angry! I have never been taken seriously with my pain, until it is too late. This review means nothing to specialists because they are in such high demand because we are a sick population. My hope is that she reads this and takes more time with her patients despite billing limitations set by insurance companies.

I accompanied my daughter this week to her first visit and was very impressed by Dr. Baker. She treated my daughter with compassion and respect. She not only addressed the medical complaint but the pain and fear that comes along with it. It's important that patients are listened to but today's time constraints don't always allow providers to do so. This wasn't the case with Dr. Baker. She took all the time we needed. She answered our questions and made sure that my daughter had a part in the decision of her care. We left the appointment with hope and a feeling of immense gratitude.

After having a horrible first visit with a different rheumatologist, I was a little hesitant to see another one, but a co-worker I trust who had a similar experience the first time recommended Dr. Baker to me, and I am SO glad she did! Hands-down, Dr. Baker is one of the best physicians I've seen. I really liked that she is a DO because I know they tend to have more of a holistic approach to treatment. I really felt like Dr. Baker knew what she was talking about, explained everything at a level someone without a medical degree could understand, truly listened to me and asked great follow up questions that not only showed she was listening, but brought to light symptoms I never would have thought to bring up otherwise. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I'm looking forward to continuing to receive care from Dr. Baker and her staff!

I haven't been able to make an appointment. The office staff is horrible. I've been on-hold and playing phone tag all day with no resolution or response.

Dr Baker is very thorough in communication. She has always spent a sufficient amount of time in the exam room with; she has gone above and beyond with my difficult case.

I have been seeing Dr. Baker for 10+ years. I travel an hour because she is the most caring compassionate Doctor I have ever been treated by. She listens attentively and seeks to find a care plan that is suitable for the doctor and the patient. The staff is very professional and efficient. Many doctors could learn a lot about "bedside manners" and treating the whole patient from Dr. Baker.

The ER doctor I saw thought I could be having a flare up. They wanted me to see my rheumatologist asap. I called next day to get an appointment; I was told there weren't any until Feb next year . I explained my situation & what the doctor at the ER said. I was transferred to her team to leave a message. I left a message before 3pm and never got a call back that day like I was supposed to. The recording said if you leave your message before 3pm you get a call back the same day.

Dr Baker was thorough with my history, current symptoms, and prognosis. I appreciated her attention, and making sure I fully understood basis of my current status and likely outcomes.

She is the best doctor I've ever had.

Dr. Baker Is extremely knowledgeable in so many medical areas but I primarily need her for my arthritis. We went through the various steps on my road to relief and repair and everything is progressing as I believe it should. She and her assistant, Tracy, always take the time to explain whats happening to me and answer all my questions fully. I cant tell you how much better I feel just having the both of them in my corner! **They are not at 300 N. Graham any more-- they moved to NW 23rd Next to Good Sam some months ago and they have their own parking lot to.
