Dr. Welborn is the absolute best! She has an excellent bedside manner, explains things in great detail (without talking over your head) & is great with my kiddo. On top of her amazing personality, her surgeon skills are also top-notch. My daughter had scoliosis surgery & it was one of the scariest decisions we've made. With Dr. Welborn on our side, there was no hesitation that it was the best decision for her health. The surgery was a total success & my daughter is very happy she had it done - she feels SO much better! She went from almost an 80% curve to a little over 20%. The worst part of my daughter's recovery was that we won't get to see Dr. Welborn as often - which should tell you everything about how amazing she is.

Our Daughter was diagnosed with pretty significant scoliosis around 15 years ago now. We saw many different Specialists who had a wide variety of opinions and options. Eventually our search for better care led us to Doctor Welborn. From the moment we met Doctor Welborn we knew we had found the right person. Doctor Welborn was caring and attentive to our Daughter's needs and immediately developed a care plan which did not immediately call for some form of surgery. We monitored our Daughter's scoliosis until it became evident some intervention was needed. Doctor Welborn performed spinal fusion surgery to correct the scoliosis. Absolutely fantastic results. So well done it's hard to express in words. What I liked most about Doctor Welborn was her strong, confident, demeanor which carried through to her surgical performance. Beyond that Doctor Welborn connected with our Daughter to a point where Doctor Welborn has become a role model for our Daughter.

Dr. Welborn is incredible! She is thorough, up-to-date, knowledgeable and compassionate. She has the best bedside manner I have ever seen. She treats her patients as individuals and gives her time as if you were the only person she has to see that day. My daughter had scoliosis surgery, and Dr. Welborn walked us through the whole procedure explaining everything in detail and answering all of our questions. She met all of my daughter's needs after surgery, was supportive during the whole process and was encouraging. I cannot say enough about her. I highly recommend her and am so glad she was recommended to us!

Our Daughter had a bad experience at another Hospital ,We came to see Dr.Welborn scared to death about ever having surgery again,Dr.Welborn has some of the of best communication skills ,she looks you in the eyes instead of looking thru you.!!Spent 3 months in shriners ,She was Honest,She was confident in her abilitys,Our daughter has gone from looking side ways to looking you in eyes ,Feel Blessed to have chosen Dr Welborn ,she loves her work it shows.Was also impressed with the team of people who surrounded the Dr to assist her. My granddaughter needed to have surgery for scoliosis. However, she also has Down Syndrome, which can complicate things. Dr. Wellborn was not only confident that the surgery could be managed successfully, she treated her as an individual first, rather than "Oh, she has Downs...". She took great care to be available to answer any questions we had as a family, and remained calm even though we grilled her.

Dr. Wellborn was confident, because of her professional development in the areas of syndromes, that the surgery could be managed successfully. She also treated her as an individual first, rather than "Oh, she has Downs...". She took great care to be available to answer any questions we had, even though we grilled her.(I guess every family wants a guarantee...!) My granddaughter fully recovered and is back to her regular activities with a vengeance!

Dr Welborn has been an absolute blessing since the moment we found out my son needed surgery. Not only does she relate well with my teen, but provided all needed info with ease and much needed reassurance. My son felt completely comfortable in her care and it was always a pleasure to work with her. Pre-op, surgery, pain mgmt, aftercare, follow up, and her specific interactions personally... We are so lucky she was with us through it all!

Dr. Welborn is GREAT! My 14 year old had to have surgery for Scoliosis and she loves DR. Welborn. The entire process from start to finish was very positive. We highly recommend her!!

Dr. Welborn is everything we were looking for in a orthopedic surgeon for treatment for our daughter's scoliosis. Our daughter is quiet and usually very nervous in healthcare settings but Dr Welborn's sweet, personable, and encouraging style made her feel safe and confident going into spinal fusion surgery. Surgery and the results were better than I could have imagined. We are so thankful to have found a Dr we could feel so confident with!

Dr. Welborn did an amazing job taking care of our daughter. She was seen by another doctor who suggested a much larger procedure. Our daughter had her spine surgery with Dr. Welborn and is doing amazing! Her back looks incredible, she feels more self confident now. She is back playing sports and is pain free.
