List of Oregon Outpatient Surgery Center's Reviews
We had a great experience with OOSC today. My spouse was there for a minor podiatry surgery, and I was nervous and unsure of what to expect. Gina, the pre-op nurse, was wonderful and spent five minutes helping us look for my spouse's nose ring when we dropped it on the ground. The anesthesiologist was caring and answered all our questions. The staff kept me updated on my spouse's progress the entire time, and when my spouse woke up I was allowed to sit with them while we went over post-op care instructions. Amanda, my spouse's post-op nurse, was wonderful, so kind and gentle with my groggy spouse and helpful with all my questions. When she helped my spouse into the car, she gave them some very reassuring and caring words. We will likely be back in a month for a second surgery, and I will be much less nervous knowing that my spouse will receive excellent care here.
Surgery center or factory? Felt like they kicked me out of the place after a late friday afternoon procedure. Was barely awake when they sent me home. Brent K. Evetts was the surgeon who failed to give me enough pain meds going into a weekend. Everyone under his employ is lazy and have a disturbing lack of knowledge in their given field.
Idk why this location has such low reviews. I had an outpatient procedure yesterday and I don't think I'd recommend anywhere else! I have had a lot of procedures done where I have had to have a hospital stay because I'm consistently sick and just overall really susceptible and immunocompromised. Finally having the option to recover at home is awesome. They have a great process here. They gave my mother and I matching wristbands. This is an incredible thing and something a lot of places including hospitals don't have. They made sure that even coming out of anesthesia, the only person I was to be released to was my mom who had my information on her wristband. They match the wristbands and ask clarifying questions before they even release someone or let someone come back and see you. The surgical process was great. I forgot to get the name of my anesthesiologist, but even though you tend to be nervous, he made me laugh right away and did not hesitate to talk me through the process and how I was gonna feel before and after. The nurses are attentive and make sure you're in as little pain as possible. They didn't even let me go home until my pain was manageable. My mother was more of a nervous wreck than me ( I was only nervous about the needles lol ), and I heard from her this morning that they reassured her the entire time and let her see me the second surgery was over and they brought me back to the recovery room.
Dr Edelson gives his patients an outstanding level of care and the results of his surgery are nothing short of a miracle. Thank you for giving me back the use of my knee!
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Edelson. He did a meniscus repair on my right knee and cortisone in my left and I am a happy runner again. I am 100% pleased and highly recommend him. My husband is now seeing him for his shoulder.
I felt very safe and they took great care of me. No complaints whatsoever.
Of all the surgeries I've ever had- hands down- absolutely the best experience I've ever had. Fastest intake to surgery I've ever had. This team went above and beyond- I can not sing their praises high enough. So fast, efficient, professional, kind, caring- even though we're still in the pandemic. I legitimately hope if I ever have to have surgery done again that it could be done here.
Terrible office staff. Forwarded my call to them just call right back and a very rude and unhelpful lady answers the phone. She absolutely wants to convey in her tone and attitude that she is annoyed she had to speak to and will without a doubt do the bare minimum. I'm waiting for my accident protection insurance to pay out. They have 0 contact with their billing office which also refuses to answer a phone so bottom line of you want to have the laziest medical staff not help you, go here.
Please do yourself a favor and do not pay until insurance has been processed. They charged me double what was owed after insurance paid and their normal processing internally for a refund check after insurance pays is 8 weeks so you could wait over three months. Billing office non responsive on top of all that. I wish I had told them I’ll pay after submitted to insurance.
I had a hip replaced at OSI on the 25th of June and to anyone who reads this I had a great experience with OSI and ALL the staff. Everyone was so nice and even though we are in the middle of this cover 19 thing, the folks here were top notch. My prep nurse was especially funny as she was professional. I had a choice of locations to have the hip replacement done and I chose OSI because I didn't want to have it done in the hospital. What a great choice. I highly recommend OSI if you have the choice. Nice clean environment, friendly staff, and an easy to get to location.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
