Providence Center For Weight Management ? East's Online Review Report Card

I just walked over with a friend to use the vending machine and grab a soda. First we were told by the nurse to wait a sec and see what they can do because the doors from the er were locked as we were waiting a security guard tells us that we can’t go through those doors and that we can’t use the vending machine. I asked why not thinking it must be out of order but instead of answering me, he just glares at me and walks away. No explanation or nothing. So my friend says let’s go and he shows me the other way to go in that he was told to use the last time as we walk through the doors two more security guards then tell us they are out of order. My buddy says what about the one on the second floor and they then say they are all out of order, and then in the next breath he says they are closed to the public after 830!? One he didn’t even know we were public or a patient and second, is it that big of a deal to keep the public from using a vending machine when your a public service? As we turned to leave the black security guard from before comes in and looks at us with disgust and then says thank you to the other security guards! They were gung Ho about keeping the public from using a vending machine!! What the actual… I’ve never seen anything like this before and never heard of this happening or being a policy for a hospital? So I guess sacred heart security is more worried about guarding their precious vending machines than anything else!? It looks really bad for the hospital and its staff! Plus, what if I was working there like a janitor or even a Dr off duty? They just assumed we were homeless and were giving us the most disgusted looks! Idk if you know this or not but that’s discrimination.! Worst thing I’ve ever experienced there.

My visits at all my appointments , have been excellent in my care, the staff are very professional and helpful in my care. My doctor is very good as well and listens to my needs and all medical care ...Ten Stars to all

The provider was a great listener and collaborative in making decisions for me. She had obviously read my chart notes and stated that she would communicate with my PCP regarding follow-up care.

Years ago. When my daughter was little province is the one hospital that saved her life. And treat they treat the patients and the family like they wantna be treated with respect

Endless jumping through hoops, approved for surgery, then not. THREE times. Been waiting to be given a surgery date for months only to be told in March that I wasn’t even on the list for surgery schedule. Never told that so waiting for months for nothing. Not just me affected but family and friends who plan on being with me after surgery not being able to make plans. Go somewhere else. This program is horribly run.
