List of Sean Mcgarry Md's Reviews
Drove 2 hours, waited close to 45 minutes in the room, examined by a resident, then got to see the specialist finally for about 3-4 whole minutes. Very poor bedside manner, unfriendly, cocky, didn't examine me just asked how it all started. All I can say is I hope he was right when he said it's benign with just looking at the MRI. No explanation given as to how he came to that conclusion but I was quickly rushed out. I could have have a virtual visit and saved myself the drive and being alone because of course they won't let your spouse in.
Those 2 very odd and I am scared because I just can't go back there- Weird vibe- they are rude and reluctant to answer questions. Awful experience- have seen him 3 times. Same each time. Another Doctor suggested I have a cocktail before going again and the vist may be more palatable.
Dr. McGarry and RN Kirby both have poor bedside manners. Long waits, normally hours past my original appointment time. Dr. McGarry does not like patients asking questions and seeking alternative treatments to his first suggestion. As an informed patient, I like to explore all of my treatment options starting with the least invasive before jumping into surgery. Appointment was very rushed, Dr. McGarry and his nurse Kirby are in the room for less than 3 minutes each visit. This has been a constant problems for years, but unfortunately he is the only orthopedic oncologist in the area. That provides him with many benefits including poor patient care and leaves the patients suffering. Dr McGarry seems to not enjoy seeing patients. He is very knowledgeable and would most likely excel in a research position that does not work directly with patients.
no problems with the md's providing service. The outsourced billing office are not very unhelpful. I had a claim from 8 months ago that they sent my claim to the wrong ins, it was denied " coverage terminated" . They refused to rebill to the right ins because they were denied twice by the wrong ins. they will only bill twice. They would not give me a copy of my claim so I could bill it myself, only a summary which can not be processed as a claim. After MANY frustrating conversations with them I had to have my insurance rep call them. Extremely poor customer service skills. I don't think they had any concerns because I paid my bill due to collection threats! I have dual insurance, I shouldn't have to pay a thing, but I ended up paying with loss of sleep and frustrating days after conversations with they customer service reps
After only 2 visits, Dr.McGarry and his associate Kirby was able to diagnose me. I have seen numerous doctors over the last 11 years and it's because of his professionalism, expertise and gathering of knowledge that he was able to do this. I believe the one time I waited long in the office it was because he was gathering additional info.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
