List of Suvarna Palla's Reviews
After my offsite (due to COVID-19) sleep studies were completed, I scheduled a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Palla. From the start of the appointment, I was very disappointed in the doctor's preparation. Dr. Palla did not know what studies I had performed at Providence. There had been no review of my chart or my studies prior to my visit. I don't know why I spent hours filling out intake paperwork about my sleep history, only to not have it in my records for Dr. Palla. I'm also very disappointed that Dr. Palla had not even reviewed my studies prior to the start of my visit. I might as well have shown up without an appointment for the amount of care and preparation that happened for my visit. I'm less confident with the diagnosis I received because it felt like a two-minute review. I was having to try and remember medical history things "on the fly" for the visit for the diagnosis. Again, why fill out pages of intake paperwork if the paperwork isn't reviewed by the physician?
Televideo appt to get a replCement for my broken cpap
she is awesome at what she does she obviously saw I have sleep apnea from the sleep studies that i had to do and even took the time to order me a cpap machine and it has been working to this day i thank doctor palla for doing that for me so look no further shes the sleep specialist you would want
Dr.Palla is WONDERFUL !
Dr. Palla would be fine if you have sleep apnea or similar breathing issue. However, she is either unable or unwilling to learn enough about circadian rhythm disorders (CRDs) to be of any use to patients with CRDs. She told me I had a CRD, which I basically already knew, but offered minimal help in actually treating the CRD or mitigating the symptoms. When I mentioned problems with sleep inertia, her response was essentially that I had a CRD, so she couldn't treat anything else until that was resolved -- but she then didn't offer enough help to resolve the issue. So basically: diagnosis and she was done because she couldn't fix it with a sleep study and a CPAP. Additionally, appointments with Dr. Palla are scheduled at least three months out, so if you have an urgent sleep issue, you're out of luck. If I had known how unhelpful she was going to be, I would have skipped seeing her altogether and gone straight to OHSU. OHSU has a much better sleep team, and they're much more versed in CRDs. You can also usually get in to see them sooner. I'd highly recommend them for CRD treatment; Dr. Palla will be a waste of your time if you have anything other than sleep apnea.
Dr. Palla is very kind. She is well mannered and really seem to care about her patients. She is very knowledgeable and thorough.
Complete incorrect approach in diagnosis of orthopedic neuropathy. She did not explain anything, just ordered a nerve conduction test on the wrong part of my body. Unknowledgable and lacks common sense in human anatomy. Poor listener as she blanketly look right through me as I explained my condition. Horrible communicator.
After suffering migraines for years, she nailed it in minutes and I haven't had one since. The longest I have gone in my life. I'm 80 and I finally got help
Dr.Palla is attentive and keen listener. She is very knowledgable and answered all my questions.I highly recommend her.
Dr. Palla spent time with me explaining my test results. Her bedside manners is good.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
