Tom Wang's Online Review Report Card

Believe the bad reviews! Do not trust this "doctor." Not only is he as rude as everyone is saying, but he will ruin your face.

I saw Dr. Tom Wang for the first time to get my nose cleaned up after my Septorhinoplasty surgery, which was performed by Dr. Deniz Gerecci almost two years ago exactly, July 6th, 2020. He came in after his assistants had cleaned up my bandages and proceeded to ask how everything was going. I explained to him that it has been a very rough time since the surgery to which he was unresponsive and arrogant to my concerns. He spent little time with me, was not interested in being straightforward with his answers, and was arrogant the entire 3 minutes he was in there with me. I then had another follow-up appointment with Dr. Tom Wang in the Portland OHSU Clinic a few months later to discuss why I couldn't breathe properly, the change in the aesthetic of my nose, and more. I drove 30 minutes to see Tom Wang and waited 20-30 minutes past my scheduled time in the exam room for him, to which he came in very arrogant and egotistical, again, acting as if I was wasting his time. I explained to him my concerns and how the surgery went in more detail. He stated that my septum was still deviated, my nose was beaking, etc. He then proceeded to tell me to "just sleep on your side and allow gravity to assist in your breathing." He spent no more than five minutes in the room with me and sent me on my way. Dr. Tom Wang was not professional. He was not helpful. He was arrogant, egotistical, and poor at understanding the concerns of a patient who just had a failed surgery and has had a long and painful road to "recovery". From my experience, I would caution anyone thinking of going this route to find alternative doctors or options before moving forward. Worst experience ever. Arrogant and dismissive. Have to find a doctor who can fix what the doctor ruined.

God complex. Wants praise for things he didn't do and shirks responsibility for his mistakes. I'm devastated.

Dr. Wang has a high opinion of himself and unfortunately for patients, the quality of his work doesn't live up to it. I'm devastated by what he did to my nose.

Words cannot express what a fantastic surgeon Dr. Wang is. He performed a VERY complex revision using ear and rib cartilage and removing excessive amounts of scar tissue. He rebuilt my nose to fit my face and I am very grateful to look normal again! He is also great with fillers!

Dr.Wang fixed my nose after over 13 botched surgeries from another surgeon. I had a very complicated case and a very deformed nose. He used rib and ear cartilage to rebuild my nose. I am forever grateful to him for making me normal again. It fits my face perfectly. He is also great with fillers and Botox!

Dr. Wang did a terrible nose surgery on me. He didnt use the proper precautions for the healing process and i dont recommend anyone to go to him. I would give him zero stars if i could.

I had a severe deviated septum obstructing air in my right nostril. Dr Wang patiently explained my left nostril was collapsing when I inhaled through my nose. I had large turbinates as well, reducing air flow in the upper region of my nose. Dr Wang repaired all of those issues perfectly. Since I was already undergoing surgery, I asked him to straighten my nose and refine the ball at the end. He also smoothed out a small bump in the middle. I consulted with several surgeons before deciding on Wang. He was the most knowledgeable and the most professional. I LOVE my new nose. I love the subtle changes. It looks perfect and not overdone. I love breathing normal. It has changed my life and I would want anyone I know to use Dr. Wang. There was so much work to do on my nose, even taking a part of my ear to reinforce my left nostril. Not even a hint of a scar. Even when filling my prescription, the pharmacists would heap praise on how talented he is and how they've had family fly cross country to be his patient. I had large turbinates as well, reducing air flow in the upper region of my nose. Dr Wang repaired all of those issues perfectly.
