Couldn't have had a better experience for my ankle surgery. Dr. Askew and his staff are very professional, efficient and friendly. Both my wife and I have had ankle repairs done by Dr. Askew and his staff. I can't recommend them highly enough! A great team, and an incredible surgeon!

Had without a doubt the worse experience I've ever had in a doctors office with Askew. This guy is the definition of a hack. He made it clear from the moment I walked through his doors that he couldn't care less about my health, the only thing on his mind was getting me in and out of his office doors as quickly as possible. This guy is the definition of a hack. SERIOUSLY DO NOT GO TO ASKEW. He made it clear the moment I walked into his office that he didn't care the slightest about my health, only getting me in and out of his office as quickly as possible. I suffered for five months with a foot injury that could have been fixed in a week if he actually listened to what I was saying. If you are looking for a foot doctor right now, seriously move on. This guy should have his license suspended. Absolutely incompetent in every way. If I could give him zero start I would.

Dr Askew; I had been suffering from pain in the large joint of my right big toe for years. It finally got so bad I was left with no other option but to get it corrected surgically. By luck of the draw referral from the VA, I got Dr. Askew. From the first day, I found him to be very engaging with a great sense of humor. After X-rays and examination, Dr. Askew took his time and explained my procedure throughly, answering all my questions in detail. It's been a year since my surgery and I'm still pain free. Dr. Askew is a brilliant surgeon with an outstanding staff. A special thank you to Dr. England for her kindness and compassion.

What a gentle~man! I was so scared before my surgery. His never-ending kind manner and professionalism was so appreciated by this patient. He was very clear and direct concerning my injury and at the same time added a sense-of-humor. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Askew if you want a terrific Physician who cares about his patients.

Dr. Askew literally saved my leg! I presented a very complex case (multiple prior leg surgeries) that made my case difficult. My ankle was broken in a car accident and I feared I could possibly lose my leg. He miraculously put me back to together again. I am grateful for the expertise, professionalism and sheer talent of this fine orthopedic surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Askew!

Dr. Askew is an excellent surgeon and I know this because he repaired my Achilles tendon and I am able to walk again without pain. He took time to answer all of my questions before surgery and I never felt rushed during any of my appointments. He truly cared that I should have a full recovery. I wish there were more Dr.'s like him I would probably not procrastinate so much on health issues if I could find Dr.'s who truly cares about patients like he does.

Dr. Aaron Askew is one of the brightest, best bedside manor and highly skilled surgeons around. I came to him to repair the work of a surgeon who had "practiced medicine" on me 3 times and the work was to poorly done that Dr. Askew had to re-break the bones to do it right. At this point I had lost faith in surgeons, but Dr. Askew was genuine and was highly sympathetic to how scared I was. He spent quality time with me and took me thru the steps, one by one in detail and after healing went back to dirt biking, skiing, surfing, running and my leg has been great ever since. I have since referred friends to him who have been very satisfied also. His staff were exceptional, caring, friendly and always took the extra 1% time to make sure I was cared for. In our area Desert Bone and Joint is superior to the competition in all areas of their practice. To be treated like a human being and not a $ sign is priceless. DBJ is the best.

I highly recommend Dr. Askew to anyone who needs a great orthopedic surgeon. He has been my doctor for over a year and a half now after I suffered from a traumatic leg injury. I am truly grateful that Dr. Askew is my orthopedic surgeon since without his expertise and care I would not have made the amazing recovery that I have made. Dr. Askew has always been very patient and compassionate during my surgeries and follow up appointments. He always takes his time to answer my questions or concerns and during the times that I have broken down crying he has offered me a box of tissues while being very sympathetic. I am grateful that Dr. Askew has such great bedside manners since my previous orthopedic surgeon was cold and unsympathetic about my injury. If you are looking for a knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon that has great bedside manners then I highly recommend Dr. Askew.
