Had a outpatient procedure and haven't heard anything from her. There was a brief phone call about 2 1/2 months before with little explanation. Saw her for less than 5 minutes before the procedure, nothing afterward. I requested a phone call with her, and still have heard nothing. I was given a medication that nothing was said about. And I won't be taking it until I do know. If a surgeon is so busy that they don't have the time to properly take their patients, they need to reduce their patient load. Otherwise there can be mistakes on their part & they become ineffective, as in my case. I know no more than I did before the procedure and am still having the same health issue. That is just plain sloppy doctoring or lack there in.

Dr. Nelson is my hero! She was so caring during my battle with breast cancer. My questions were always answered and I never felt rushed while visiting with her. She’s the first person on my team of incredible doctors who worked together to fight breast cancer.
