Initially Dr. Schuler was great when I started seeing him in 2017-18. He took his time & had a great bedside manner. Now, he's swamped and there's no time to discuss concerns. He's obviously stressed about his time and dislikes the medical records being all online. He will use MyChart to message but I was so unhappy with my last three in-person visits in 2019 & 2020 that I've decided to look for another PCP. He's become scattered & indecisive in his verbal communication. I think overall he's probably a good doctor who cares but unfortunately St. Charles is a poorly run healthcare organization that overworks & spits out docs. Dr. Schuler's (current) medical assistant Cheri is VERY rude in person & via messaging. It's been nothing but paperwork, labs & RX errors. Sick of the mistakes & mediocre treatment. Why is it that doctors are one of the only professions where the doctor works for you, the patient, but they act like you are subordinate? Agh! Looking for a new doctor!

Dr Schuler was my primary doctor for 4 yrs an I cried when I found out he was leaving Othello to go to Oregon . There isn’t very many doctors like him an will listen to you. I have had nothing but problems since he left with trying to find a good doctor . I have to many many medical conditions for most doctors to take the time to listen an try to find a solution to make it better or deal with . I really miss him as my doctor ??????
