List of Erin Finter's Reviews
I've had a total hip replacement in October 2022 by Dr. Erin Finter. I could not have been happier with the results, I've found her to be very professional, caring and personable, including the staff and Dr. Finter's great PA's at Desert Orthopedics . I tell people that if I lived on the East coast and needed another hip replacement I'd come back to Bend Oregon and have the surgery preformed by Dr. Finter
I have a knee replacement on July 15 performed by Dr. Finter. She and her team were exceptional throughout the whole process. Dr. Finter and her team made communicating very easy. I may need another need replacement and I definitely want Dr. Finter to perform the surgery.
Several years of injections until they no longer worked. Eventually over the years she performed hip and knee replacements on myself. No complaints! She’s a Rose!
Dr. Finter is an excellent surgeon who I've had the pleasure of recommending several friends to. Not only a great caregiver but a very down to earth person--something you don't always find among those in the medical field.
After six years of a knee problem Dr. Finter referred me to a neurologist. Well I have the mystery solved. I have MS. Thank you Dr. Finter for going the extra mile!
stuff that couldve been said on the phone wasnt. drove 45 minutes for a 15 minute appointment. to find out nothing will be done for a torn hip labrum. i dont want drugs or anything. i just wanted to be fix.
Meh. Not great. I have recurring hip pain that has not shown on any diagnostic images. I'm healthy, active and medically savvy. I highly, highly suspect labral tear, but Dr. Finter basically said, "Sorry, your images are negative. I don't know what is causing you such pain." While she didn't seem interested in treating me, I had to ask repeatedly for a referral to a hip arthoscopist/specialist in PDX. I also called her team to get advice on what I should do in the meantime to manage pain. It took three days for them to suggest options. Not impressed with the care.
I had my left Knee replaced in march of 2017. I have waited a long time to wright this review so that any emotions would have time to sort themselves out. she correctly diagnosed a torn meniscus told me that the amount of arthritis made me a candidate for a knee replacement. She said that the worst thing that would happen would be a possible re-visitation to help the knee bend better. My natural legs are not straight. Both lower legs were flared out about 5 deg and my feet are flared out several degrees to compensate. There are two schools of thought apparently, put the leg on the way it came off or put it om straight. Dr Finter put my leg on straight. Consequently some ligaments were not long enough and some too long. I was walking on the outside edge of my foot. All this put a strain on my already bad back resulting consistent knee and back pain. I walk with a cane now and trouble walking more than a block or two. A far cry from hiking the mountain trail's I loved!
Dr. Finter replaced both of my hips in 2019.. I would give her the highest rating for anyone who was looking for a great doctor.. she was so helpful answering my questions and I have no pain now.. WM in Redmond, Or - March 18, 2020
2017 the right hip and tendon needed replacement and repair. 2018 the left hip was replaced. Dr Finter was exceptionally empathetic in addition to her considerable technical and surgical skills. if I had more hips needing replacement, thank goodness I don't, I would ask her to do the surgery. I am very picky about doctor choice, she is really gifted.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
