Top notch doctor I would reccomend to anybody. Extremely thorough in everything he does especially when explaining the procedures and risks, I couldn't be happier with the services he has provided and is continuing to provide for me. I was extremely worried about my procedure for a variety of reasons and he had absolutely no problem in explaining everything in great detail, even going as far as drawing on his spine model with a pen to really show you his goals of surgery and what he's looking for/expecting. I appreciate his honesty and willingness to dig into the issue further to ensure im receiving the proper treatment. Be prepared for a different type of treatment in regards to how some doctors can act, he's genuine, actually cares, and has great bedside manners. I'm extremely impressed with him and hope I can continue seeing him in the future should I need another procedure in the future. Thank-you for giving me a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel, ill be forever grateful for that.
Have been seeing Dr. Shultz for major back issues that included the fusing of three vertebrae. The result was successful in ending pain in my right leg. Dr. Shultz is always professional, friendly and respectful. He gives the time needed. I have great confidence in him.
I've seen many docs in my life and Dr. Shultz is at the top of the heap! He explains things in understandable terms, is a great listener and most importantly, is a world class surgeon. I am incredibly lucky to be his patient!
Dr. Shultz came in the room yelling at me .I'm not your back doctor. Then he said well I am but I'm not. You don't need to see me. Swift is your back doctor now. Then says there is nothing surgical wrong with your back. At that point I thought to myself he diagnosed me with out touching me or even taking an x ray this guy is really good NOT. I made the appointment with DR. Shultz could look at my upper back. Did you tell swift about it? I said yes he was the third doctor I told about A new spot 8 inches up in my back you are the 4th. needless to say my upper back never even was addressed Then he says I can refer you to another doctor. At that point I walked out.
A truly caring doctor and talented surgeon. I sent my mother-in-law to see Dr. Shultz - he is great!
Awesome Doc! Easy to talk to, a talented surgeon, he cares and returns calls! Staff is friendly too. Highly recomended!
I was referred to Dr. Paul Shultz by another surgeon. I needed a knowledgeable person to interpret my MRI and one who could help diagnose the chronic sciatic nerve pain in my left leg, a recent complication from a previous operation 55 years ago. Dr. Shultz explained things thoroughly and had a perceptive understanding of my complicated, anatomical issue. He is currently working with me to successfully control the pain and has made several suggestions for future interventions. I highly recommend Dr. Shultz for his insightful expertise, professionalism, and thoughtful care.
Dr. Schultz is a very caring person and pays attention to his patients. I had back surgery in March and feel so much better, The only thing i would bring up is that he is not in my network and I wish his staff would have told me. I don't regret having him do my surgery,

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
