This my wife's experience Marie Lauterbach: Absolutely horribly unprofessional and an a long wait to see him and be disappointed and discouraged. I'm back to Kaiser after being gone since 2008. I previously received good care , and over the years outside of Kaiser I have developed a very chronic and increasingly bad gastro intestinal motility disorder which no one has been able to figure out even with thousands of dollars of tests. So I wait 2 months for the appointment with this Dr, online mind you , He first is miffed because we start the appointment late because I didn't see a button on the screen eventhough I was online waiting 5 minutes prior to the appointment time. Coloscopy was discussed and I told he I am allergic to to the prep they usually give and also I will probably need more pre because of my motility issues . The nurse had no i idea , he forgot to tell her, so I messaged him and asked him why he forgot that ? He admitted it was his fault but he will refer me to someone else . So now I get to wait longer? I'm reporting Kaiser for this , im absolutely disgusted with the attitude of this arrogant man . Lack of patient care or even caring about his a patient. What an awful person.

Dr. Speer submitted incorrect orders for a different procedure than the one that was actually being performed. It was either negligence or laziness. Dr. Speer never bothered to follow up after the error was identified. This is certainly not safe healthcare.

I was very impressed with the medical care and knowledge of Dr. Speer and his staff. Highly recommended. Excellent preparation, procedure and follow up.

Very easy to talk to; seems to be a little removed from the usual Kaiser Permanente way of not telling the patient anything---he is pretty straightforward. I wish I could spend just a little more time asking questions and such.
