My entire family (all six of us) went to see Dr. Howerton. They give excellent service and are very caring. I would definitely recommend him as a first choice to anyone who needs it.

Dr. Howerton was great. 4 months later still dealing with billing issues. Still gave 5 stars because the Doctor did his job right. However my lesson was learned. As soon as I opened mail box I paid the bill sent to me since my insurance paid me instead of them. I waited months for this and I was given an amount different but as I can clearly see my insurance paid the correct amount. I disliked how the employee blames my insurance. I didn’t expect it to be waived just explained in a professional way. It was the calculation of the office that was wrong. I honestly just don’t like the way “Margo” explained benefits. I was calm and collected and she was a tad bit to rude for me. However, the procedure was great, office was clean, all staff was so nice. Only complaint was the billing issues and one rude staff member. I would still recommend having a procedure done here.

I feel at ease as his patient which is exactly how I want to feel in that environment.

Dr Howerton took out my wisdom teeth 30 years ago. Fast forward to yesterday. I had to have a tooth pulled due to a cracked root. I was scheduled out about 3 weeks but started feeling ill from the infection. They pushed up my consult to get me in sooner. I was not sure who I would see and was pleased when Dr Howerton walked in. After seeing me and compassionately listening to my symptoms. He fit me into his schedule a did the extraction that afternoon. It all went so well. Almost no pain afterwards. Janna was his assistant, she is so sweet! She made me felt heard and comfortable.That evening Dr. Howerton even called me to check on me. I reported doing better than expected. He made sure to remind me to call right away if anything comes up. 30 years ago I was so happy with my care with Dr. Howerton, so much more yesterday! Everyone from the front office to the back were great! I highly recommend Dr. Howerton and group.

Feel like I’m just repeating everyone else, but a special needs person I support needed work done. Dr. Howerton and all of his clinical staff were confidently knowledgeable, able to make sure we both understood the best course, and showed remarkable care to insure she was as comfortable as possible. I am thankful we found this practice and that I can rely on them for her future needs.

Terrific oral surgeon. Kind, patient, and understanding! His staff has also been awesome!
