List of Everett Mozell's Reviews
Dr. Mozell has been an exceptional surgeon for my experience. He answered all of my questions and took time to explain the process of surgery, expectations, possible outcome, risk, etc. I cancelled my initial surgery due to worry and it came down to need. Once I had the surgery, Dr. Mozell checked in on me daily in-person at the hospital and over the weekend! I was truly grateful he was my surgeon!
Attentive, took as much time with me as I needed to fully appreciate my condition and his advice. Explains things well. A kind and caring physician.
Diagnosed the problem promptly, responded carefully to my questions and scheduled the fix within three weeks. Highly recommended.
Just got home from operation. Great all around experience if you have to go through it. Staff at the hospital were very cheerful, supportive and professional. Dr. Mozel was quick and efficient, making sure all my questions were answered with clear explanation on care for recovery.
I wish they had 10 stars I could give him. Because I would. He is very Professional in what he does. And cares about his patients like family.
In a scary time...in a system of specialists that are not explaining who they are or what's next...DR. MOZELL IS INCREDIBLE !!!! Everything you hope for in a doctor. Thank you Dr. Mozell.
Polite yes. The rooms are a little cramped and his nurse blocks the door. I have 2 calluses on each of my thumbs put there by family members and people who have abused me by means of excessive Friction. I have had them removed before by good Samaritans only to have my abusive family and their friends put them back on me in the same spot those good Samaritans gave up. I went to see Dr Mozell about getting them removed he looked at them and said he couldn't. I would lose movement of my thumbs.
Very thorough. Friendly and good sense of humor. I felt very comfortable
When I read the last review I was going to perplexed and angry. I have worked with Dr. Mozell in a professional capacity at our hospital. I can say in good confidencethat he is certainly the most conscientious and prompt surgeon in the hospital. He is always the earliest to see patients in the presurgical environment. I have only known him to be kind and respectful to the patients. He was even my surgeon for a minor procedure and this went really well. I am not sure what happened that day but it would be extremely unusual for this superb surgeon
I saw Dr. Mozell due to a serious case of hemorrhoids. The first visit was straight forward, I ended up waiting for 30 or so minutes after being take back to the exam room before he came in. We discussed my problem and he set about doing an internal exam with the intent to perform a rubber band litigation. Once he saw the size of my hemorrhods, he decided to put me on a stool softener and gave me a prescription for suppositories to try and shrink the inflammation. I set an appointment up for 3 weeks later and used all of the suppositories. They hadn't shrank enough to do the banding procedure, do he scheduled me for my hemorrhoidectomy. The day of the surgery I showed up and was checked in, was prepped for surgery and had spoken with my anesthesiologist and we waited for Dr. Mozell... and waited... he finally showed up and explained he had over slept. No big deal, but I didn't have much of a chance to ask questions prior to the surgery. They rolled me back and I woke up afyer the surgery in a great deal of pain and generally delirious from the anesthesia. I honestly can't remember if Dr. Mozell ecen came in after prior to me being taken to 2nd stage recovery. I didn't see him again my entire visit and had some questions about post care. My partner and I had been given a paper explaining to use a sitz bath etc, bit nothing on cleaning the area additional suggestions for pain management or anything. The only thing he had told my partner was that the hemorrhoids had beeb huge. 3 days after surgery and I am still in an intense amount of pain and almost out of pain killers, wgich isnt the Dr.s fault, it is just a horrid surgery to have to have. I called in and was scheduled for a follow up the preceding day.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
