Could not get me out of the office fast enough. Did not address all the testing on this cardiac issue a had only a week prior. Appeared in a hurry and indifferent to my concerns. Fortunately, the office staff let me schedule with another doctor for the next appointment. Pretty much an unhelpful rapid appointment.

I have been to see him three times now and he has not even listened to my heart...
I found this doctor to be professional friendly informative helpful in fact all one could ask for in a cardiologist. I don’t know why he got the ratings he did but they are not deserved
I can validate Jason Schmidt's review. Dr. Iyengar was terse, aloof, and dismissive. The total exam lasted less than five minutes. He never once made eye contact with me. He quickly decided I needed three tests, all to be scheduled separately. When the practice failed to submit the insurance approval request in a timely manner, I asked my PCP for a new referral. I was referred to Dr. Gandhok at Cascade Cardiology. The difference was as start as night and day. Dr. Gandhok and his staff shook my hand, sat at eye level, and spoke directly to me. They did multiple simple assessments, most importantly orthostatic blood pressure and resting heart rate. Dr. Gandhok explained why he was doing each activity. He explained why he was recommending two tests, instead of three, and why the third test was not clinically indicated. Moreover, the tests he recommended could occur at the same appointment. If you have a choice, I suggest starting with a medical practice that acts as if they're treating humans, not servicing cars.
He's happy to take your money and rush you out the door. Added medications and symptoms I never listed or mentioned. Wouldn't listen, no empathy, easily one of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Not flexible with scheduling, I had to miss a lot of work to come in for early appointments.
Zero compassion or empathy, but happy to take your money and rush you out the door. Wouldn't listen, and put symptoms and medications I never mentioned or listed in my paperwork.
This caring man saved my life. Over the last two years he and his staff have been there for me. I thank God everyday for them.
I do not know what Iyengar's issues are, but his attitude toward me was inexcusable in someone who is supposed to be a professional. He really seemed to enjoy belittling me and drawing out (as much as possible) both my stress and pain. He actually performed a procedure on me without ANY pain management!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
