In retrospect, I didn't realize how fortunate I was to have Dr. Lai place my epidural for my first pregnancy. I recently delivered my second child and did NOT have the same experience. Dr. Lai explained the procedure and answered all of my questions. She placed the epidural so quickly that it was over within a few minutes. My most recent epidural took 25 minutes and didn't even work - a horrible experience.

I've had multiple surgeries and Dr. Lai has been the kindest, most compassionate anesthesiologist I have ever had. The block she performed worked perfectly and I woke up pain free - NOT like my other surgeries. Thank you Dr. Lai!
