Dr. Sheila is the most amazing, caring doctor l have ever met! Very professional, kind, and her staff were helpful and so sweet! Thank you Mill Creek for being amazing and truly caring about her patients! We will be staying with her as long as possible! Highly recommend!
Recently I was given this clinic a lead to be my new primary pcp by my insurance company. I called Mill Creek and gave them all my insurance information. They asked me to take a picture of my insurance card which I did and sent it to them. They said they would have to call my insurance company to see if they accepted my insurance. Once they found out they called me back and said that they did take my insurance and that they would mail out medical background packet to fill out then send back to them and they would set up an appt with me once they got my paperwork back. I did what they asked me to do, then I got a call from them yesterday stating that they didn’t take my insurance and there was nothing they could do. They took me through a whole process of getting me a PCP and said my insurance was approved then I did all the steps they asked me to do then I get denied. It looks and sounds like false advertising to me! I would be very cautious of this clinic and the lies they told me! If it were me, please look for a different PCP or clinic. This outfit obviously has some huge customer service issues and I would hate to see other patients go what I went through!
Sheila is truly the best. I never feel rushed in and out of the office, she takes the time to thoroughly exam and explain. Highly recommend
Absolutely horrible people! They are one of the only option for my mother and they dropped her because she might be too complicated of a patient for their one doctor. She never actually saw them they dropped her and refused to see her before her first appointment.
Shelia is the most amazing, caring doctor I have ever met. Our first appointment for my son was probably the best experience I have ever had with a doctor and staff. We will be staying with her as long as possible!!
I first met Sheila Wettlaufer through Salem Clinic in the 90s. My doctor had left the clinic and they didn't have another doctor to take her place, so for a short time we saw Sheila for any appointments. Sheila was the kindest woman I had ever met!!! My previous doctor's position was filled and I began seeing that doctor. I was a patient at Salem Clinic all the way into my adult years, I saw an OB/Gyn there when I was pregnant and my daughter and I remained patients with their Family Practice until she was in elementary school. I hated getting moved around from doctor to doctor, they never had time to really get to know us and at every appointment we were asked if we were new patients. I decided I needed to switch. I looked and looked through the list of providers that accepted my insurance and saw Sheila. I instantly called and got set up for a new patient appointment. Shortly after I switched my daughter to her. My mom left Salem Clinic and moved to Sheila, my sisters switched, and I recently switched my stepdaughter to her as well. I've been seeing Sheila now for at least 10 years and I would not change her for the world. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the recent change in receptionist. The previous receptionist was kind and wonderful, but the new gal seems to struggle picking up the job.
After reading the previous reviews I felt that I had to speak up. I first met Sheila at Urgent Care through Salem Clinic. She took great care of me and explained exactly what was wrong and how to manage it. (I had an infected spider bite.) When she opened her own practice I made the decision to change my adult disabled kids to her practice. When you deal with a disability you need to be able to reach your doctor and not be given the "run around". My children had been cared for by Dr. James Lace for years and had actually "aged out!" of his pediatric practice. I was terrified knowing that they would have to get in line at a huge clinic where you never really get to know the staff. The level of comfort that my kids feel at Sheila's office can't be matched. It's a small clinic and we are all on a first name basis. Sheila has been extremely careful and through with her treatment of both of my children. She has "gone to bat" for us with insurance issues and has made sure that "no stone is left unturned" when it comes to their care. I can't imagine her "inviting a man to her home for dinner...I'm guessing her husband might mind! :)" although perhaps she extended the invitation out of some personal concern which I'm not aware of. Needless to say, I would most definitely refer others to Mill Creek Family Medicine. Do we have LONG waits at times? Absolutely. I have LONG waits when I myself am seen at Salem Clinic. I have EXTREMELY long waits at Salem Hospital. That being said, I'm guessing that my kids and I are waiting since she is taking the needed time to deal with the patient prior to us. She NEVER rushes us and ALWAYS takes time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. If you want one on one service from your provider, without feeling like you are "just a number" then Mill Creek Family is a great place for your family health care.
My best friend comes here often. They so often comes home in tears with how this place treats them. Also their ability to follow up on what they are suspose to do is poor. Watching this process every step of the way I would not recommend this to anyone.
Unprofessional and rude.
Sheila truly cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
