Renee Prins Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr Prins was the on-call oncologist when I was unexpectedly admitted to critical care. She quickly got up to speed on the immediate life-threatening issues as well as my ongoing leukemia, working with my out-of-town specialist and making sure my hospital stay went smoothly. She has since become my main oncologist, and I've found her to be gentle, caring, extremely intelligent and up-to-date on my sometimes-unusual issues. After 17 years with CLL, I trust Dr. Prins. When out-of-the-ordinary situations arise, she consults with the specialist I've seen for years, but the ongoing care from Dr Prins and the staff at Oregon Oncology is absolutely the best ever. (The front desk, the nursing staff, the pharmacy, & infusion clinic, the Oregon Oncology practice reflects the same warm, caring attitude.)

I cannot say enough about Dr Prins. She has been a huge anchor for me during my cancer diagnosis and continuing treatment. I value how much she cares about me and not just the disease she is treating. Anyone to have her for their oncologist is lucky.

Out of all the oncologist I have seen during my 10 year battle with breast cancer, Dr Prins is the best by far. She is compassionate, warm, throughout, empathetic, and highly educated. She is not afraid to consult with other oncologists if a second opinion is needed. I feel completely supported by her care, which is a first for me!

She didn't know what to do so she ordered a test that was not needed. She spent 2 minutes with me. She had to leave the room and come back, looking up information on my chart. Not caring and no compassion. I will stay away from her and that team of Oncology.

An excellent doctor in every sense of the world. Intelligent, compassionate, diligent and warm. Top notch care.

Dr. Prinz has been most supportive and helpful in diagnosing and providing care for my mother . She is both most efficient, caring, and follows through in a timely manner with phone consultations and interim needs between appts.

Will say, the time you wait is well spent. Dr. Prinz spends an amazing amount of time with you to ensure all questions are answered, all options are covered, and she is so knowledgeable! Plus - she bends over backwards to find a reputable second opinion / outside resources to validate and enforce her recommendations. And - more than anything - she honestly cares!

We see Dr Prins at the VA so waiting time and scheduling appts are not under her control. She's an AMAZING doctor with a wonderful bedside manner. She always spends as much time as we need and she knows what she doesn't know, an invaluable skill for a doctor to possess. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a warm, genuine and knowlegeable Oncologist.
