I am very pleased the clinic is located in Keizer and my doctor is located there. The staff was very friendly and greeted me right away. I didn't have to wait very long to be seen by my doctor. Very relaxed atmosphere.
So very caring...answers to questions were easy to understand! That helps a lot when my husband & myself had concerns about the upcoming surgery! Thank You Dr.Fan
I had a femoroacetabular hip impingement (FAI). Dr. Fan performed a hip arthroscopy to correct a cam pincer. I experienced issues with nerve compression resulting in numbness and zero pain. Dr. Fan was passive and uncaring while expressing my concerns for losing all feeling in the operative joint. Physical therapy requires awareness of pain and comfort. Identifying issues and pepper healing requires awareness of pain levels. Without feeling pain, I won’t know if something is wrong. Dr. Fan didn’t care. He was not willing to offer me any assurance with additional imaging or a referral to a nerve specialist to understand better which nerve is affected and what else is in scope. I have never felt more neglected and pushed to the wayside as Dr. Fan made me feel. I’m post-surgery and looking for a new orthopedist to finish my recovery…
I wasn't sure what to expect after my injury because I use my legs make my living. But without Doctor Fan and Dr Tommy i would be sidelined and in pain . But with their help and the help of the great staff at Hope orthopedic things are now looking pretty good. I'm not dealing with any more pain in my knee and I do believe Dr Fan has extended my ability to work quite a few years more. They treated me just like family from the beginning and truly cared about me as a person not a number or check book. I still have a little more therapy to do, but its way better than pain and a limp. thanks to Doctor Fan and Doctor Tommy , and of corse to Karen, Kate, Nick, in the therapy department, and all the staff at hope. I am grateful for everyone and everything they have done for me and recommend anyone that needs there help should search them out first. I have been blessed with them thanks again Dan v.
Most efficient and understandable diagnosis followed by timely and effective treatment plans. Love Hope because that's what it gives me back... hope! 😇
I recently went to Hope for an issue I have had for the past 5 years with my right knee. As a facility Hope has been very pleasant. The staff have been friendly and when needing to set up appointments and such their team has been very prompt and on it. My biggest concern and complaint sadly has been with the Doctor that I was issued. I finally was able to get an MRI done. Took about 2 weeks from my first visit to get in for the MRI but the results were fast and next day. I was confused and concerned with the results so was looking forward to hearing from Dr. Fan. After 3 weeks of not hearing from him I reached out to Hope myself. If I had not done that I’m not sure I ever would have, which is not ok. So at 6 weeks I finally get to sit down with him. The Doctor didn’t seem to have any idea what he was even seeing me for until talking to me for about 5 mins and reading my chart. The MRI stated that I have some kind of degenerative ACL with a small cyst as well. And I say “ some kind “ because Dr. Fan didn’t even explain to me what it was. In fact told me to ignore it and that it’s misleading information. The one and only negative thing that popped up on my MRI he’s telling me to ignore. That’s just concerning to me and also not how a medical professional should report findings to a patient. He didn’t even explain to me why it’s misleading and shouldn’t worry. When I would ask questions about this ACL issue he would respond in a tone as if I’m wasting his time. Very condescending in the way he talked to me as if I’m dumb. Well…yeah I am dumb when it comes to these issues I’m not a flipping doctor. I’m thankful Hope was able to help me get my MRI and I finally know there is something going on. But Dr. Fan in my opinion did nothing for me besides request the MRI. When seeking medical care and guidance I would just expect the doctor to show effort in making the patient understand everything going on. And do it with some compassion. Im just not impressed with Dr. Fan and the way he presented himself.
Excellent
I have gone to hope orthopaedic for many other problems have always had a very good experience and I think they work hard to make people comfortable doctor Fan was no exception
Dr Fan spent time asking about my situation and provided sound advice. I would definately trust him and recommend him to others. The staff was very kind and professional, even in this crazy time.
Appointment s are late.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
