Saint Moscati Community Health Care's Online Review Report Card

I really want to give a good review: the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the office has a friendly atmosphere. However, there is only one doctor, and he is incredibly overworked and never available. He doesn't spend enough time to truly understand the problem, probably because he can't, and it is borderline impossible to actually talk to him without an appointment. Getting an appointment here takes a long time, typically over a month, and twice now I have had my appointment canceled at the last minute, after taking time off work, because the doctor was either over-scheduled or unavailable. These problems are very frustrating , and don't lend themselves to a good experience, so I simply cannot recommend this center to anyone, which is probably for the best since they apparently already have too many patients to handle.

Called to get 1st appt. with a provider my insurer ASSIGNED TO ME. The customer service agent, needed me to annunciate my name & member ID 3 TIMES, yet somehow could not find it. Told me to call back tomorrow. OR they could have said, its too late for us to finish the intake process, let's do it tomorrow when we open so there is enough time. Instead she blamed the "system for not finding me" OR I could have Providence FIND ME A NEW PROVIDER. That is NOT appropriate help for someone seeking medical. This place should be ashamed for hiring incompetence like this.

Very professional and helpful. When you call you get a real person who answers! I love our provider and the way he always makes you comfortable and he's easy to talk to.

Staff is so kind & friendly! They have good availability and are willing to work with you when scheduling. Highly recommend

Great doctor easy to talk too understands n cares .really like him first time i went there ..first time in long time ive had a doctor i can trust .

Moved here from Eugene and Springfield, Saint Moscati is and will be the best place for me because my PCP and the care providers do care for their patients and it is in great walking distance from my house. I give Saint Moscati two thumbs up 👍👍!

I am very persnickety about my medical and dental providers. I will drop providers without hesitation. I have received excellent care at Saint Moscati. Dr. Castillo is wonderful. He listens and spends time with patients. He recently answered multiple questions right before his lunch break without rushing me or giving me basic answers. He even called in my prescription right away. I had no issues with referrals being delayed or forgotten. There have been no insurance issues. He calls in prescriptions promptly. I am impressed.

Dr. Castillo and staff have always been great. I have recommended others to come here if they decide to change doctors. He listens and is caring and scheduling is usually easy. I've been coming to his office for about 2 years now. Initially because he was so close to where I was living, but now that I've moved further away, I still will make the drive to his office. Also, the office is bilingual in Spanish and English, which is a plus for those who need a Spanish-speaking doctor, nurse, or receptionist.
