If I could leave less starts. I would. If you are transgender, this place is not inclusice as they state they are. I advise you find a different provider. These people don't take no for an answer, they are pushy and they are all around uninclusive and rude. Between ignoring no and pushing for dysphoric unnecessary procedures. Borderline, if not full, discrimination status based on gender. I am appalled and none of my family will be returning for any sort of care from this clinic.
Once again wanted to remind people, TO NOT GO HERE. Literally the worst. I wish I could give zero starts honestly. Don’t go to the guy to check in. Doesn’t know how to do his job and properly check in people, the manager is no help and doesn’t resolve anything but try to encourage to go to ER AND “sorry” like if a sorry will help pain. They refused to see us even though they made the mistake to not check us in. Honestly they don’t even know how to do their job. Go anywhere else but here.
if i could give 0 stars i would. i had a horrible experience with this clinic. I have to wait forever everytime i come for an appointment and today when i arrived i checked in and waited almost an HOUR before checking in with the front desk who said my appointment was cancelled because I never checked in which makes no sense because I had the papers i was PROVIDED BY THE FRONT DESK and when i was told my appointment was cancelled they recommended i go to urgent care instead. I recommend literally anywhere besides here !!!!
I just just had a really bad experience with this clinic, especially on the dental department The doctor did a Feeling replacement on a Thursday He did something wrong, because I Had pain right after the anesthesia went away. I came back the next day, and he say everything look good to take ibuprofen or pain medicine for a couple of days, and if he still hurting, come back. Which I did, The pain was worst and worst Each day The third day I called back to make an emergency appointment and they did not want to receive me. Finally, they did give me an Appointment. I showed up Thirty Minutes early to that Appointment and make me wait an hour and a half after That was closer to 430 P.M. the clinic closest at five. I went to the front desk and they say that they don’t have any more time to look on me. Apparently somebody did a mistake and they did not check me in and they want. Me to make another appointment for another week, which day deny that they say I had to deal with my paint, even though that it was completely their mistake. Originally, I did not hurt any paint or any problems on my teeth. The only reason that the doctor recommended to replace my filler because it was getting loose, but it was no problem. I highly recommended. If you guys have any dental problems. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITIES OR CLINIC. IT’S THE WORST THAT HE CAN BE IN THE WHOLE OREGON STATE.
I have had the same primary care doctor for 10+ years,Taylor McDowell has been a cornerstone in my health and wellness,I feel honored to be a patient at the West Salem clinic.Shout out to Jacob also.
The receptionists are always kind and dedicated to helping me with any issue I call with, their patience and knowledge with how to direct getting the help I need is unrelatable in most other businesses/Healthcare establishments. Shannon Carrey is a wonderful doctor. She's so knowledgeable as she's helped me through my Healthcare decisions in the most caring and conscious ways, helping me get the services I need to live a healthy life. I could ask her about anything and feel comfortable doing so which is incredibly important in a physician-patient relationship. Her nurse team is always patient with me when they call me for updates, even if it's news I don't want to hear, they are beyond helpful in getting back to me and helping me manage my Healthcare plan, being the forefront for my questions. Sometimes my team can seem a slight bit rushed, yet they do not falter in their kindness in interacting with me and I get it, there's a lot going on behind the scenes as they try to take care of all of us. I'm grateful to them for their hard work and dedication. I have been to the quick care clinic a couple of times, which is a newer concept to me, and the doctors there remain vigilant in their patience and kindness with my more urgent needs. I'm usually at the quick care for no more than a couple of hours. The nurses and doctors there are some of the kindest as they try to get to the root of my Healthcare problems and expedite my care the best they can. Overall, the West Salem Clinic is full of dedicated, kind, and knowledgeable professionals. I hope the people that work here remain here and that the clinic takes care of each staff member that is employed here, as it is every individual I interact with that makes the entire experience good and manageable. I actually don't hate going to the doctor when I have to go here, which makes me better at my preventative care. I'm grateful to each and every person that works here and this clinic would not be the same without each and every one of them!
Myself and my family go to this clinic, and Taylor McDowell is going to quite literally kill my father or permanently damage his organs with their negligence. The amount of times my father has had to go to the emergency room just this month for entirely manageable and preventable reasons is shocking. Despite the severity of his diabetes, West Salem Clinic repeatedly sends him home or to the emergency room without any change in his care! Today, during yet another appointment to address his diabetes, McDowell wanted to call 911 for my father because he was showing clear signs of distress. We went to the ER immediately, and that’s when the care team there started to bring up their concerns about my father’s lack of care. The team at Legacy hospital was appalled by the negligence that landed my father in their care several times this month. They very directly told me, “He needs to fire whatever doctor is neglecting his diabetes.” I informed them my father was attempting to get his diabetes managed today, so we checked paperwork to see what day west Salem clinic had rescheduled the diabetes exam for… ONE. MONTH. They are going to make him wait a whole MONTH. They have a patient who has blood sugar of over 400 even after fasting, that is NOT a patient who should be waiting a month to get this managed! When I called to make a formal complaint, I was turned away by management. William would not allow his agent to transfer the call. Apparently they only care about medical negligence if it’s my own doctor, or if I get my father to sign a release of information. An ROI is already going to be filled out, especially following this incident, but it blows my mind that West Salem Clinic would turn a blind eye to a matter this serious, especially when I’m not even asking them to release any information to me. I’m trying to tell THEM information, not ask for information to be released to me, yet they still refused to document my concerns. To say it’s incredibly alarming and unethical of West Salem Clinic to ignore a valid concern is an understatement. How many more times are we going to be in the ER before my father experiences permanent organ damage or death? Also, as low income, disabled individuals, driving to the doctor and the hospital used up the remainder of our money/gas. We quite literally cannot afford to reach the doctor’s office right now to sign an ROI because WSC’s neglect has forced us to make multiple emergency room trips. Edit: Calling today and only identifying myself as the one with an issue motivated William pick up the phone this morning. As I repeatedly explained to him that the neglect of my father’s care should raise red flags as to the negligence potentially happening to McDowell’s other patients, he repeatedly let me know he could do nothing for me, I should just write them a letter. William let me know he wasn’t a manager or anyone with any shred of power, just someone who let every word of mine go in one ear and out the other as he repeated, “There’s nothing I can do.” I asked him how writing a letter will result in my father receiving timely care, and the answer boiled down to: it won’t. After that, he had the brilliant idea of mailing my father an ROI to fill out, but he seems to forget that the form still needs to make its way through the post office, then somehow is supposed to get driven back to the clinic before my dad has yet another ER visit. West Salem Clinic does not care about you.
Best Care you can get around here . Top notch
Northwest Human Services gives your information to 3rd parties, they delay healthcare and misfile it on purpose, and they try to use roundabout ways to avoid treating you or doing their jobs. DO NOT GO HERE. They are unethical and only serve to absorb insurance money without providing appropriate levels of care.
I had an appointment today. I tried to tell the front desk woman making the appointments that I had a few things to talk to my dr about so I can make sure not to be rushed. She didn't want to listen and just scheduled me a 15 minute appointment. If thats not bad enough my dr was 8 minutes late. If they are only going to give us 15 minutes, The Dr's need to be on time. I was left with a 7 minute appointment. Northwest human services is obviously pushing to make as much money as they can while giving us worst service. They don't care. Services there have always been a hit or miss, but a 7 minute appointment is crap. I will fallow up and let you know how much this 7 minute appointment costs me and my insurance company. The insurance company will be interested to know also probably.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
