High Lakes Health Care Sisters's Online Review Report Card

One of the most dysfunctional health care places I have ever experienced. They do not answer their phone. They do not return messages. I also tried to make an appointment online like it suggests on the message while holding on the phone. I physically have to come into the clinic to make an appointment. Then they manage to mess that up too. Staff is untrained and rude. There is zero follow through. They can’t hold onto a doctor, there has been lots of turnover in a short amount of time. We simply have been coming here because there is nothing else in Sisters. No longer. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you want a massive headache. Literally every experience here has been bad.

I've been a patient at the Sisters location for several years but unfortunately I will be changing to St Charles. This is because the staff is simply uninformed on how Tricare Select insurance works which provides coverage for retired military members. Instead of taking my insurance as they've always done, the staff now insisted I needed a VA referral (Tricare and the Veterans Administration are not connected). This is despite the clinic's Doctor being a network provided to Tricare. It's simply inexcusable for medical staff to deny a military retiree service due to lack of knowledge on a rather common insurance plan.

First I feel like I'm a very healthy rational person who doesn't need to go to doctors very often. Second, I really don't like to give negative reviews as I try to keep very positive. I needed to look into some things so I decided on working with High Lakes Sisters at the very high recommendation of a friend. Doctors I worked with were great but their staff and staffs email responses had me running around trying to chase things down I felt they should've been able to resolve. After 5 months I finally had to set up a 5 minute appointment with the doctor to get clarification on what I was dealing with. Again the doctor was fine but then I got a bill for $235.00. I reached out to Kim in billing only to get very condescending and uncooperative email responses. I probably wouldn't be giving this review if it wasn't for her unprofessionalism. I understand mistakes are made but being unwilling to work with your patients isn't right imo. I just felt like a number to her. Not like the good ol days when you could ask a doctor a question and not get billed $235.00. Very sad in these trying times.

Able to accommodate appointment on short notice and get me a needed mri

They are all extremely professional and courteous. Receptionist, nurses, Drs, and phlebotomists, all appear to be very happy in their jobs and happy to serve the general public of Sisters. I would recommend High Lakes to anybody in need of medical services.

The shingles shot was efficient & easy on Monday. But the Friday flu clinic was amazingly smooth! I barely exited the car before offering my arm; then driving away before my scheduled appointment. Thank you for being soo timely and easy to be safe this season. Jan B

This. Is a wonderful place with such caring staff. Dr. Eden is the best. She doesn’t rush you through our discussion and evaluation. .

I always get the kindest and best care from Drs. Kevin and Eden Miller though I am a most difficult patient due to severe chemical intolerances. I do not want to put any drugs in my body, my suffering is too great. So when they tell me what needs help I try to find a more natural alternative. I find their diagnostic skills exceptional and I am grateful to be one of their patients.

Everything went well, from the front desk throughout my entire vist.
