I met Dr Kang after having my second stroke, with no apparent reason. Dr Kang explained why it’s so important to try and find the reason and suggested two minor procedures. One will examine my heart through my esophagus (TEE) and also a LOOP recorder to monitor my heart for up to three years, as the 30-day event monitor showed nothing. She explained how both of these procedures would be done and the risks associated with both. Dr. Kang treated me with respect, never hurrying our appointment and I left feeling like I’d found a doctor who actually listened to me and cared about my care.

I agree with BB's review, she is brilliant, caring and talented and you can be confident she is the very best Urologist there is, we are lucky to have her here in San Diego.

Dr. Kang has exceeded my expectations! I have found Dr. Kang to be compassionate, wise, and a great listener. She is quick and responsive and I always feel at ease under her care. Dr. Kang is terrific!

wow - hopefully nobody uses yelp to pick a doc.i noticed Dr. Kang has two 1 star reviews that are the opposite of my experiences under her care. She's a highly intelligent, personable and talented surgeon who performed a significant procedure that restored my quality of life to 100%. she explained the diagnosis well, the treatment options, the time to recover from surgery and everything else in a clear way. she was also easy to access before surgery and during recovery. As a scientist i had some detailed questions and she happily explained some details. My recovery and outcome was exactly as great as predicted and I came away incredibly impressed by Dr. Kang in every regard - she's a competent, confident, kind doc I'd return to or send my kids or mother to in a heartbeat.

Dr Kang had some radical advice and was very strident in her opinion. Went to another doctor and was exceptionally good in diagnosing my Disease. Get another referral.
