Jonathan Bennion's Online Review Report Card

I have been seeing Dr. Bennion for 2 years and he has always been kind and compassionate. He has a great bedside manner and is easy to talk to. He has never made me feel judged by my weight or A1c numbers. He has always been helpful and tactful. His staff is so helpful and competent. I would highly recommend him to anyone who would like a knowledgeable and caring endocrinologist.

Very thorough, takes the time to listen, explains everything in detail and I don’t feel rushed. Definitely would and will recommend him to family and friends should they need an endocrinologist.

My wife and I both see Dr. Bennion for Diabetes man agent. We’ve found him knowledgeable, an excellent listener and skillful practitioner.

Dr. Bennion said I "had an aneurysm" just by feeling near my heart and listening with his stethoscope, and "here feel it, it's about..(I don't recall)..cm.". That day's notes said "noted an ABDOMINAL aneurysm; refer back to PCP. PCP said no one can diagnose an aneurysm just by feel, and that sometimes on slender people the beat is strong there. Ultrasound showed no aneurysm at all. Worse- I had a thyroid nodule which could be cancerous per a second endo. which Bennion ignored tho clear in U/S.

A very dynamic and decisive doctor, with an excellent 'bedside manner'. Front office staff rates five of five stars possible for friendliness and top efficiency. The back office staff I encountered, well—I called the practice manager to complain about cavalier treatment by one of the MAs over a month ago and never heard back beyond a message on my phone the day I left a message for her—I returned her call within one minute of her leaving her message and I have not heard from her since. A second call, and leaving a message for her and still no call back. In her defense, she does manage three clinics but a simple call back is only common business courtesy and quickly made and resolved. I have no confidence in this practice as a superb doctor does no one any good when they have 'toxic' staff working for them. As in the business world, ones employees who interact directly with the public can drastically affect the firm's [practice's] 'PR bottom line' and reputation. I hate to give a review that is lower than a doctor of Dr Bennion's caliber deserves but this patient cannot trust the practice because of the 'toxic', cavalier, employee with a practice manager who won't even engage to hear a simple complaint.
