List of Onepeak Medical's Reviews
Dear One peak medical administration, I am writing to express my concerns about the unprofessional conduct of some staff members in this office, and the legal implications that may arise due to their behavior. I am uncomfortable with the way I have been treated, and I hope that something can be done to resolve this issue. During a recent lab session, I shared with some colleagues that I was concerned about my body odor. Instead of keeping it confidential, they began to mock me and spread rumors about my hygiene. This has made me feel humiliated and disrespected Despite my attempts to address the situation, the behavior has persisted. They continue to exclude me and I feel ignored and belittled. It is essential to note that Oregon's Workplace Fairness laws prohibit harassment, discrimination, or retaliation in the workplace. If not addressed, this behavior can lead to legal action against the organization. They failed to meet the standard of care, known as a "breach," which can have legal consequences. I would appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that appropriate action is taken to address this behavior. All staff members should treat each other with respect and dignity at all times. I trust that you will take the necessary steps to ensure that this does not happen again. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, kayla Winslow
Don’t go here. Bad experience.
I recently started going to ONE peak after hearing wonderful things from a few close friends. I can see why, Carol Crisp has been absolutely amazing. This is a place that truly listens to your concerns and answers your questions. I love the holistic approach they take. I also got my blood drawn today, which for me is always really nerve wrecking. The phlebotomist I saw was amazing, she made me laugh and feel so comfortable. Thank you ONE peak!!
This clinic severely affected my health and quality of life by putting me on a medication that I never should have been put on. After establishing with a new clinic, I was referred to endocrinology and it was the specialist who point blank asked me who prescribed the medication and that it was 10x the amount recommended. I was on this medication for a few years and during that time I was not doing well. That medication affected my cardiac health, digestive health, mental health, and more. During this time I was repeatedly told I wasn't feeling well because I needed to eat better, reduce my stress, exercise, take all their supplements and endure all the tests. The whole time my thyroid labs were off and adjustments kept being made but the issue was one of the medications. Once the specialist got me off of that I started feeling much better. The specialist documented in my chart that prescribing me this medication was inappropriate and would make me feel terrible. It did, it severely impacted my life. There were multiple other issues with OPM. I would never recommend them. They should stick to selling supplements and injecting botox. They absolutely should not be offering primary care. I should file a lawsuit for what I've endured.
Dr. Treva Risher is fantastic but that is the only thing I've enjoyed about this office. Getting ahold of someone on the phone is impossible, I've had my appointment rescheduled by the office four times over the course of a year, one time I was moved to another doctor in another town who gave me very little information regarding my lab work and I have yet to have my CT scan reviewed with me. Communication between the office and the patient is abysmal, and they should be ashamed that they have let it continue for more than a year before addressing. They moved their office from Eugene to Springfield and provided no notice to patients. If it wasn't for Dr. Risher, I would have left.
I've never been so disrespected by any business as One Peak. I am their target audience, a person with an interest in innovative health testing and wellness. I was excited to go in for a test that my PCP recommended to try to solve a chronic issue from a new angle. I left confused, overwhelmed, and insulted. I will seek out alternatives to One Peak, but I have specific and actionable feedback since patients deserve better. Privacy - Staff barged into the exam room on two occasions during my appointment. This has never happened at any other medical facility to me before. I'm glad I'm not using you for paps. The layout of the lobby should be reconsidered. The desk is immediately to the right as you enter. Therefore, while I'm trying to check out, the next patient comes in and stands roughly two feet beside me at the desk, eliminating any chance of private conversation about my appointment. You have the space to distance your desk from the door to create a proper and respectful waiting area. Special events - I arrived to a weird chaotic energy and commotion. It turns out the founder was visiting. I get that's exciting, but I wouldn't have expected that sort of behavior in patient-facing areas of a medical clinic. It's giving Theranos. Consider closing your availability at times like these to avoid disrespecting patients. For example, as I'm at the desk to make a follow-up appointment, the founder stands beside me to record the team dancing to loud music now that all her providers were finally available. I couldn't talk to the receptionist and had difficulty hearing her questions. You prioritized making TikToks over my comfort and ability to conduct business with you. Appointment length - This was was roughly half an hour long. I'm not sure if this is the usual length, or if it was rushed in order for everyone to get together and dance to outdated songs. This is not enough time for a first visit and I was shocked when my provider motioned that our time was up. Initial visits with new providers outside of One Peak have routinely provided an hour. During my visit, I filled out at least four sheets of paperwork, and these are in addition to the extensive questionnaire I already filled out online in advance. This means that my provider is asking me questions about symptoms while I'm also trying to fill out diagnostic paperwork at the same time. I found myself feeling lost and overwhelmed at how disorganized the conversation and process was. A longer appointment where I didn't have to multitask questionnaires would be appreciated. Deceitful sales? - I came in for a specific test request, recommended by my PCP. I had things I wanted to add-on since I found other services intriguing, but I made my priority clear. Based on my paperwork, the provider stated that the test I requested would not be useful and tried to push me toward other testing. I'm not sure why since our time was abruptly over, but I said that I wanted to continue with the testing originally requested regardless of whether she thought it would be useful. I was ushered over to make my lab appointment. I had no idea what labs were scheduled until the summary was viewable online later. The original test requested does not seem to be there, but there are plenty of other tests ordered. My PCP has seen me for years and understands my goals. That you are implying her recommendation is not valid after a half hour of meeting me without a clear reason is offensive. I'm wondering if you don't do the testing I requested and declined to admit it in order to sell me on others, which is deceitful. Many of the tests ordered are tests my PCP has conducted in the past year, so there is no need to test again. One Peak has not attempted to gather any of my existing medical records to check for redundancies, which is a red flag. Lab orders need to be more clear and summarized at the end of the appointment. That this is a primary part of your business and so unclear is absurd. It makes me feel like you're attempting to scam patients with unnecessary testing.
Carol Crisp is amazing
RUN! There is a lot to be desired with this office. They are disorganized, unable to send orders in a timely fashion (5 weeks and counting!), do not reply to voice messages or messages via the patient portal, it is impossible to get anyone on the phone from the office, instead, they have an answering service that can only take a message and share with the office. It is evident that my health is of no concern, they are interested in only prescribing more of their supplements. I gave this office a year and a half to get it together as I really enjoyed the provider, but every interaction degrades my confidence and I have officially decided to seek care elsewhere.
This is how a medical office should be! Very helpful, knowledgeable, great experience I feel I need to edit this review, the medical professionals are great! Billing is absolutely horrible. Both myself and another family member have had awful experiences. I received my first notification of a bill in September from a February visit for $710, checked with insurance, they received same in September and paid $350, tried calling billing for 2 days, finally got thru and was told I had to pay $710 or would be sent to collections!
I really liked my provider. I am currently seeking a new company completely as I can never get a response. This is the third time in the past year. This time 1.5 weeks of emailing, messaging on the portal and calling with no results. Called today and was told I had a message on the portal, nope and that someone had called nope!! They could not tell me who or when and I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told nobody would answer. This does not seem ethical at all. I notice that all negative reviews have the same response and they want us to call or message them. Hmmm don’t waste your time. This business has no problem taking money but lacks in patient care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
