I was very impressed with Dr. Vivek. He really listens, he explains everything thoroughly, and involves you in the decision making for your treatment. Highly recommend!

Dr Vivek MD did a tonsillectomy for my daughter. He made it clear that it would not be an easy recovery, but when we reached out for help with pain (10 on the pain scale that went on for days, and she has a pretty high pain tolerance!) his response and the response of his staff was "this is normal." They really didn't get what was going on for her! They were also very slow to respond. This was particularly concerning because due to the pain, she wasn't able to eat anything but liquids for at least 12 days and she has lost a tremendous amount of weight with very little room to lose any more. Finally, I had to take her to the ER to get some relief from the pain! Luckily we had a wonderful doctor there after the 8 hour wait. When she got in to see Dr Vivek he was his characteristically dismissive self, and when she asked him about the fact that food is getting trapped where the tonsils were removed he simply told her it wasn't possible. I wonder how it is happening then. This doctor is totally unprofessional. Hopefully he is better at surgery than he is at being a compassionate and respectful human being. Time will tell. It's been two weeks and she is still struggling.

I came to the office due to a loss of smell. Dr. Vivek was awesome at explaining exactly how the nose works, what can cause decreased sense of smell. He explained rule out methods, gave good advice, and the exam was gently performed. I would recommend him to anyone.

Incorrectly billed me. Went in for inflammation in the larynx. 2 months later finally bill correctly but I am still on the hook for a 5 min. Told me nothing was wrong and sent me away. So I guess my reaction to being pushed around everywhere he decided to call me and tell me to go to speech therapy. I have GERD not a speech issue. How incompetent.

I don’t feel I was listened to and quite frankly felt dismissed. I traveled over 2 hours to see Dr Vivek. I left with him giving me no help.

Pretty good at explaining stuff. Everytime he walks into the exam room, he looks like he just walked into a birthday party. A pleasant happy guy and good doctor.

I recently had a Parotidectomy to remove a tumor from the deep lobe of the parotid gland. Deep lobe tumors are less common and require more precision and experience to remove. Dr. Vivek assisted in the removal of my tumor and is an outstanding surgeon. Because of the critical location of the tumor and proximity of the facial nerves, he was able to remove the tumor without compromising any facial nerve function. I have minimal numbness at the site of surgery. I would highly recommend him.

He explained everything clearly and rationally, detailing the risks and benefits of various options. He made use of those anatomical charts on the wall to make sure we understood exactly what was going on. He did not push for surgery, in fact agreed with us that it was unnecessary at this point. I had a high degree of confidence in him and would certainly go back to him and recommend him to anyone.
