Dr. Surrett was the 1st pain specialist I had ever been to. He listened intently and asked the kind of questions that you would ask when you truly want to help someone. He found a variety of non-natcotic prescriptions that treated my symptoms. The orthopedic doctors & neurosurgeons had done their job. It was now a matter of controlling the pain. He helped me so much. I was sad when his office closed I am glad to know that he is now seeing patients again.

To make a long story short, following a violent accident, for six years I lived with debilitating pain all day, every day. My family doctor refused to prescribe any pain medication for me because of his concerns over the country's opioid epidemic in spite of having a detailed report from the surgeon who tried to repair my injuries, so I was left with one ineffective option - take doses of OTC pain meds that were so high I was running the risk of damaging my liver and kidneys. Enter Dr. Steven Surrett. As a pain specialist he prescribed me low, sustainable doses of a non-addictive synthetic pain medication that has, to put it simply, given me a life. I still deal with pain but it's manageable. I can walk now. I can do things with my family that I hadn't done in years -- my daughter was only ten when I had my accident said we missed out on so many things that were making up for now. I had also been experiencing deep depression and feelings of hopelessness. So much so that my family doctor had prescribed anti-depressants (willing to treat the symptoms, but not their cause!!!). And now I no longer need anti-depressants. Dr. Surrett LISTENS, he cares, and he'll do whatever he can for you without the risks of using medications that are addictive. He even performed a series of injections that promoted some healing in my damaged tendons that reduced the pain significantly and has allowed me to be less reliant on my pain medications - and now I no longer need to use any OTC meds at all. If you're dealing with chronic pain you owe it to yourself to see what he can do for you. He's changed my life and I know he'll do whatever he can to do the same for you.

He was very helpful at first encounter. Ordered an emergency MRI because he said we've been having to wait too long already (because of insurance). He had the results for almost a week; I found that out from the imaging office, but then he went on vacation without telling me anything. I found out that I have another week to wait while I'm on meds that are messing me up and still putting up with the pain that started two months ago. Lost my CDL through the process because it's taken so long. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Going to be looking for other options.

Dr. Surrett was thorough in his examination. Found my area of pain and treated it with Radial Frequency Ablation. Wonderful experience and his professionalism and kindness during the entire exam and treatment was a 10.
