Susan Urben's Online Review Report Card

Dr Urben’s attitude was of annoyance and impatience. She was curt, rude and did not want to listen. When I received the post-visit summary online after the visit, it described a different visit than I had. Answers to questions were listed that I had not even been asked. It described giving me instructions on an exercise to do at home - which I was not given at the appt. All I left with was a post-it note with a diagnosis and name of an exercise and the doctor telling me to “Google it”. She came across as cold, uncaring, and in a hurry to get me out the door as soon as possible. It was sad and demoralizing. What an awful doctor. She really should go into research so she doesn’t have to interact with actual patients. It was so obvious that she doesn’t care.

Dr.Susan is wonderful ,talented,nice ,smart , beautiful and toughtful as a person and doctor.

I saw Dr. Urben recently for a chronic sinus infection resulting in smell and taste disorder. She prescribed oral steroid which I can't report the efficacy of yet. I found her to be cold and clinical in her response to this devastating symptom (imagine if you could not taste anything!). I will continue with any other ENT, but not this one.

Walked in, said "What are you here for?" (With all my paperwork in her hand.) Spoke condescendingly to us both. Was in and out, about 8-9 minutes. "You need a speech therapist for your vocal cord dysfunction." I asked the office staff if we needed a referral or paperwork, they said they would take care of all of that. Have heard nothing more.

Dr. Urban is an AWESOME physician and an amazing human being. My grandson, who just turned fourteen, struggled for two years with strep throat, sinus infections etc.. His pediatrician kept him on high doses of antibiotics during this period, however, did not believe that having a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy was necessary. He finally did agree to an ENT referral and due to Dr. Urban he is finally a healthy fourteen year old. She is our angel. She felt that a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy were medically indicated and my grandson is Now feeling AWESOME and has not had an antibiotic since the surgery. Thank you Dr. Urban from the bottom of our hearts for changing this young man's life.

I was seen by Dr. Urben for an issue under my tongue. Dr. Urben went out of her way to accommodate my request to be seen as soon as possible. She was friendly and seemed genuinely engaged and compassionate towards my concerns. I am a physicist by occupation so naturally I did extensive research before going for the visit to know what we were dealing with. She was very knowledgeable about the issue at hand. She was very willing and went out of her way to explain everything and answer my many questions and concerns. I would give her a high recommendation for anyone needing the services of a ENT physician.

She explained things very well and went through all the risks and potential downtime. I believe she enjoys what she does. I was so pleased after the surgery that I could breathe so well and she just beamed for sharing my gratefulness. She obviously wants to do right by her patients.

After seeing another ENT who misdiagnosed a cholesteatoma that had nearly penetrated my cranial cavity (and had prescribed several different antibiotics in treating the problem as a simple earache), I saw Dr. Urben, who took charge and performed two surgeries that resolved the problem by removing the growth. Throughout she provided caring treatment, showing that she was truly concerned about my welfare. I recommend Dr. Urben.

Dr was okay took forever for her to show up for an appointment then we had a laryngoscopy?? Then we get a bill and they billed over 300 just to be a patient and 323 for the procedure of course insurance covers procedure but not to become a new patient not insurance fault just dr office looking for more money for being in there for five minutes. Don’t go here unless you like waiting for fourty five minutes past to be seen and then like getting ripped off

Dr. Urben has been wonderful. She is patient, knowledgeable and kind.
