Winnie Henderson's Online Review Report Card

I wish I could fill the page with this woman's skill level and professionalism. I had been misdiagnosed for months while I got sicker and sicker with a deteriorating gall bladder. In two minutes at our first appointment, she had determined the problem, scheduled thorough testing and consequently, set up surgery and thoroughly explained what was happening and what should be done. Amazing.

Lacking in warmth and compassion and soft skills.

I am so thankful that my primary care physician referred me to Dr. Henderson. She did an excellent job of explaining everything and making me feel comfortable. Dr. Henderson’s surgical skills are amazing, I was so pleased with the outcome. I will always be grateful.

Dr. Winnie Henderson is, in my mind, the epitome of what a healthcare provider should be: competent, intelligent, kind and compassionate. A woman with a purpose and a passion, who immediately puts your journey to good health into motion.

I honestly don't think there are enough stars to give her. She truly is a God send! She takes the time to explain everything to you and you just feel at peace around her. She listens to you and gets the whole picture before making her decision. Dr. Henderson, if you read this I just want you to know, that's it perfect to me. <3 Thank you!!

Wow!!! We were very pleased. I’m sure like everyone else we were scared to death and our first appointment was amazing. The appointment was not rushed he answered more questions than we knew we had. She was so prepared and so caring aNd concerned plus a cute sense of humor. She had copies of everything for us and told us step by step the procedure and if we had anymore questions call. The day of surgery was lots of procedures and absolutely EVERYONE was totally amazing, kind and helpful The last thing I remember in the operating room everyone introduced them selves and told me their job (of course I remembered it allha) I remember we were all laughing the next thing I know surgery is done and some more caring people were taking care of me. I had three major concerns that scared me more tha the surgery and they were so careful and considerate of all my needs. The day of surgery we probably saw 35 people between all the pre opt and surgery and everyone said dr Henderson is wonderful Dr. but than atkeast 25 said also she is a marvelous person. Dr. Henderson is a surgeon who failed to explain the risks of my breast surgery and caused excruciating nerve damage in my dominant arm. She then played pass the buck and sent me to my primary care physician who is not the one responsible for fixing what she broke. I am a mother of 3 high needs children with Heart Failure and self employed. My victory over Breast Cancer has been tainted by her lack of empathy and her callous disregard for her patients.

I have never been more impressed with a surgeon than I was with Dr. Henderson. My 92 year old mother-in-law required emergency surgery for a twisted bowel and Dr. Henderson happened to be the surgeon on- call. She was so kind and competent; a rare combination in many physicians. All went well with the surgery and she was very good at explaining the procedure to the family.

It was the most extended surgery I have had and the most successful and no pain afterwards, I know that might not happen to everyone but it did for me. She repaired 4 hernias, replaced mesh and I can't say enough about the skill she has. Thank you Dr. Henderson
