List of Maeran C Landers's Reviews
I had been dealing with itchy, painful, dry, cracking feet, and toenail fungus for over two years. My old dermatologist had me on pills and topical creams, but it never cleared up. Someone recommended Dr.Landers to me, and I’m so glad they did! I showed her the multiple creams I had been on, and she looked at my foot for a second and said “that’s fungus”! She wrote in sharpie on the creams I brought with me, what they were actually for. None of them was for fungus! She gave me a new cream, told me I should stop the pills I had been taking for 2 years, and gave me a serum for the toenails. Within 4 weeks it was cleared up. It wouldn’t have taken that long, I’m sure, if I hadn’t had it for 2 years! Thank you so much Dr.Landers!, Now I can polish my toenails, and wear sandals again!!
Horrible Doctor! She doesn't listen and is more concerned with her own view of 'aesthetic beauty' then she is with actually listening to the patient. Went in to have a lipoma removed that is causing significant pain and impact on quality of life and she said it is small so it can't be that much of an impact, and that having a scar would be worse. So to this doctor having a 1inch scar on a thigh is ...

So to this doctor having a 1inch scar on a thigh is 'worse' than being in pain every time I squat to care for my new baby, or try to bend. This doctor does not listen, is invalidating and discriminatory! Avoid at all costs!"
I’ve been going to Dr. Landers for over 10 years and have always found her to be thorough, great at diagnosing rashes and lesions and expert at removing things for biopsy. My whole family has always found her to be warm, professional and and a pleasure to go to. She is fast, but knows exactly what she is doing.
Spends minimum time with each patient. Not confident that she will always catch problem areas. Charges extra for what many MDs would include in basic examination. Otherwise... Personable. Efficient.
I will definitely NOT return to this dermatologist. She was so rushed on my first visit that I should have looked elsewhere to have my squamous cell ca removed from my face. The surgery itself was also rushed and the suturing was TERRIBLE. I had HUGE stitches and I now have a very lumpy scar ON MY FACE. I've had 4 other surgeries on my body in my lifetime and this is the worst suturing I've ever had. You would think a dermatologist would be really good at suturing, especially on someone's face. She was AWFUL. They also tried to charge me for my follow-up visit. I was told by two different people that the follow-up was included in the surgical procedure cost and still I received a bill. I had to call and forcefully get them to delete the charge. Again....I will NOT return.
Her full body skin exam was not existent, she was rushed, if you had a melanoma, anywhere ,not visible by a glance, she would never see it. She did not look at hands, feet ,scalp ,ears back of neck under arms between thighs . I immediately made an appointment with another doctor.
She was rushed, did not do a full body skin exam,if you had a melanoma, not in plain sight , you are out of luck, totally inadequate, I scheduled an appointment with new doctor, when I got home.
Every time I come to your office we are asked to pay before even seeing the doctor. My last appointment I paid $45.00 for one minute of her time. Then she had the audacity to say could I pay $70 for the medication. I said NO because I haven't worked for 20 months. So she offered an inferior medication. Then said it doesn't work as well "so come back in and I will order the best". So she makes an additional $45.00 which equals $90.00! Needless to say I will find another doctor who will give you more time and interest.
Extremely pushy about unessary procedures and billed me WAY more than she said she would. The cost to remove two moles was over $1500 AFTER insurance and she initially said it would be around $600 WITHOUT insurance. Then she wanted me to do more and called over and over again after I told her I didn't want further treatment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
