Maeran Chung Landers's Online Review Report Card

I’ve been going to Dr. Landers for over 10 years and have always found her to be thorough, great at diagnosing rashes and lesions and expert at removing things for biopsy. My whole family has always found her to be warm, professional and and a pleasure to go to. She is fast, but knows exactly what she is doing.

Dr. Landers was absolutely wonderful. I came in for a growth above my eye, and she said she could take care of it right then. She was friendly and efficient.

I’ve been treated like a number and not a person for too long. It has taken me 4 months to try to get a prescription over to my pharmacy. You read that right, 4 months! I’ve never been impressed with the care, Landers is a pill pusher who loves her pharmacy kick backs but I looked past that since the location is convenient and I pretty much know what I need. 4 months and they still haven’t figured out how to get my prescription properly sent over to my pharmacy. Unacceptable and pathetic. Once I get this next prescription filled I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Dr Landers is very efficient and professional in her greeting, my skin analysis and my skin diagnosis. She has a true love for taking care of my skin, and is so fast, I couldn't believe when her assistant showed me all of the recorded notes she has created on my various tags and marks. I wasn't even aware I had most of them. She is that thorough without you knowing it! I know not everyone can keep up with this kind of care, but for the ones that want thorough care, professionally, and quickly, she is the one for you.

She was rude , hurried, her skin exam was non existent, she got paid for nothing, I lmmediately made an appointment with another doctor

She was rushed, did not do a full body skin exam,if you had a melanoma,not in plain sight , you are out of luck,totally inadequate, I scheduled an appointment with new doctor, when I got home.

Extremely pushy about unessary procedures and billed me WAY more than she said she would. The cost to remove two moles was over $1500 AFTER insurance and she initially said it would be around $600 WITHOUT insurance. Then she wanted me to do more and called over and over again after I told her I didn't want further treatment.

This woman is the worst. I’ve worked for her for free years ago on an externship from a medical assistance program. She was so rude and her staff was even worse. Rude rude rude! She didn’t try and help me at all (because I was there to learn) and literally threw her clipboard at me. She sucks. Hopefully she’s gotten better!

I've been a patient of Dr Landers for years. She is friendly, and her staff is so helpful. I actually look forwsrd to seeing Dr Landers. I feel like I have a real health care advocate in my corner.

It seems that these reviews are of two minds. I experienced the side of dr Landers that was rushed, impatient, and inconsiderate. Her receptionist was very nice and I didn't have a super long a wait time before my appointment, but when I was in there I was seen by doctor Landers for about 3 minutes, where she came in and took off my dressing gown without asking or letting me know what she was doing, then she looked me over quickly. She pointed out a mole that I hadn't noticed and said "keep an eye on that because it is dark." No follow up on that. She told me that she would not remove the one on my back that I had come in for, saying that there would be too much scarring. I told her I didn't care about the scarring and didn't want to have to spend more money somewhere else to get it removed, but she outright refused. No consideration for my preferences. There was another mole I was concerned with which she said she would take care of because it was in my pubic region and wouldn't be seen often, but for me I would rather have scarring on my back than down there! Again, no consideration for her patients. I still have not got the mole removed that I went in there for initially because I have had to jump through so many hoops with plastic surgeons. I paid her $300 for her to ignore my concerns and not even bother to sit down to talk to me. I was affronted by her manner.
