I had NEVER had a positive experience at the dentist until my recent visit at Willamette Dental. I had my wisdom tooth removed and was in and out in minutes. The procedure was quick and painless. Thank you!
Let me be clear. The staff at this location was impeccable from the receptionist checking me in to the dental assistants taking my x ray. The reason for the 1 star is because of my experience with Dr. Francois. From the moment she entered the room I knew she didnt care. Her body language and tone said it all. It was all fake, all of it. God I cant wait to be done with this guy is the attitude I felt with this dentist. A professional she was not, at least not in how she handles patients. Perhaps she is knowledgeable in her trade. Who cares if you dont care about the person you are working on? I wouldnt let her work on me again if it was free, no. Never again. I dont like people disrespecting me.
Just finished having my crown done with Dr Case and she did a great job! The final fit was perfect and I am very pleased with her work and the dental assistant Katie.
I recently moved to the area and was in need of a new dentist. I selected Willamette and today was my first visit. I scheduled a cleaning and general check up. The office is spacious with about 79 dentist that work here. Im guessing many companies use this place for their employees dental insurance. The wait wasnt too bad, about 1015 minutes which allowed me to complete the ever dreaded new patient paperwork. Once called to the back, they took the standard xrays and the staff was friendly. I was then taken to the dental chair and a nice hygienist Egan my teeth cleaning. They still use the hand held tooth scraper pick. Honestly I was turned off some by the fact they havent advanced to using that AND the high pressure water pick that removes plaque. It seems a bit outdated. My teeth were polished so I was happy about that. The dentist was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk about my teeth. I was impressed with him. The issue that baffled me is the insurance only covers one free cleaning a year UNLESS the dentist determines you need additional cleaning. Basically you are punished for having taking care of your teeth? I find this weird, why reward people who dont have any self care with additional free visits? Overall, I rate this place a 3. The staff is great, the actual insurance coverage not the best in my opinion.
I have had nothing but problems with the dental work done at South Hill Puyallup Willamette Dental Group. Four teeth that they put fillings in all blew up on me and the feelings fell out and I am in extreme pain. They said they wont fix them unless I pay more money. This dental work only lasted one year at the most for each tooth. Terrible customer service on the phone trying to get this resolved
Amazing company for dental patients AND dental employees!
Customer service finishes dead last in Willamette Dentals priorities. Closed their only central Tacoma location with no warning. After switching from Washington Dental (awesome but no ortho) to Willamette, I now find myself with over an hour drive every time I, or one of my 5 kids, has a dental or ortho appointment. Definitely dont switch to Willamette if you want to be treated like a person, rather than a number. WD is all about assembly line dentistry.
As far as the dental service, Id say it was subpar. The dentist was okay, but he didnt make me feel all that comfortable. My problem though was with the fact that they were very unclear about charges and what would be covered by my insurance. When I came in I was a little nervous, I knew dental work could add up quick and only wanted a basic cleaning and check up. They talked me into an extra Xray and told me that it was pretty routine and they had checked with moda and it would be covered. So I agreed. But as soon as I stepped out of the office one of the billing ladies told me that they were mistaken and actually it probably wasnt going to be covered! I should have probably just checked into it myself before agreeing to it. But I put my trust in the very friendly receptionist and feel taken advantage of. I have called several times to talk about this issue, but I am only met with rudeness by the accounts department. I was surprised because I have never had this issue with a dentist in the past. Lesson learned! Buyer beware.
Warning: if you care about your dental health and think that you might ever need a dentist in an emergency please dont choose Willamette Dental Group. Face is swollen, jaw infected, pain is horrible. They have one dentist that can help... on Sept. 16th. When asked for other options the dentist started treating me like I was being unreasonable and yelled at me.
Dr. Mark Chambers of Willamettes Idaho Falls office is a credit to his profession. His expertise, dedication and genuine decency impress me very much. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of dental work. He went above and beyond to ensure I got needed dental work done before my insurance coverage expired due to an abrupt layoff. He and his staff were most accommodating, friendly and concerned. For that, I cannot thank them enough!
I took my three year old there for his first dental appointment. I was nervous and hesitant as this location had no Pediatric dentist. I wanted him to have a good first experience so it wouldnt ruin his thoughts and ideas about visiting the dentist. The assistant there, I think her name was Cindy, was AMAZING! She took so much time showing him the tools and explaining what each one did and letting him play with them. He had a great time. Im so glad we chose Willamette Dental for his first dental experience. We will stick with them!
I have been happy with them. I dont like the turnover but have been happy with the Fed Way office. Never ever have to wait, everyone seems so happy and work well together. I appreciate Dr. Solmazs expertise. My cleaning/polishing experience is questionable though. Their recommendations are annually for cleaning, not 6 mos. And they do it very quickly, dont get all the spots..and the polish is a waste of time as they do it so quickly and rinse....
I had to switch due to insurance. My daughters regular dentist said she needs a filling. So made an appointment with Willamette dental to get her tooth fixed. She talked me out of it saying its her baby tooth lets monitor it. Three months later my baby is screaming with pain and she had to get her tooth pulled. I honestly think it was laziness. It was a molar she could have had for a few more years. Plus traumatizing for a little one. Im stuck with these people for a year but I will be switching back in December. I guess its true you get what you pay for.
This is the worst service I have ever! They do not communicate with each other and waste peoples time and money. Please dont ever use this company.
My 7 year old son has an incredible degree of anxiety about dentists. Today we went to the Springfield Willamette Dental office and saw Dr. Huggins and her assistant Josie. My son worked himself to tears about the xrays, but 3 minutes into our appointment his tears turned to laughter (which made me turn to tears!). Dr. Huggins and Josie eased my sons anxiety something I can never repay them for. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Dr . Sweet is absolutely amazing! Always makes sure that I am comfortable.
I am so thankful for the preventative care and education provided. All my life I have dreaded a dental appointment. No more!! Thank you so much for all your help, support and hard work. You make a difference every day.
I went in for a crown after still having pain from a chipped tooth. First temporary crown broke on the way home, second fell out somtime during the night, third one they put on with permanent glue and it stayed. The staff in the Boise office was very good about working me in. After all this I had to have a root canal in that tooth and I was very worried about it all. I was sent to Dr Val Cox in Meridian, Idaho and I was extremely pleased! Not one ounce of pain even hours after the root canal! The office staff was very polite and efficient, Dr Cox made me comfortable and pain free. The only bad thing was that it took over a month till actually get there. So far I am happy with Willamette Dental in the Boise/Meridian area.
This is the worst place in Salem, they dont treat you well, I do not recommend this place
Terrible service! Our local office is 75 miles away and they have canceled two appointments without a call. This time was supposed to get braces off and the next time the dentist will be in is a month away. The girls up front are nice, but have had back office help with attitude. This place is a joke!
