Carolyn A Piccone Md's Online Review Report Card

After a horribly traumatizing experience with another OBGYN, I was referred to Dr. Piccone by a friend who's seen her for many years. Within the first appointment, my anxiety was deescalated we made a plan for addressing my concerns and symptoms. She doesn't make decisions about care based on business protocol, but instead on the patient's actual needs. She has a clinical approach but nonetheless, her bedside manner is more comforting than any doctor I've ever worked with. She behaves like a partner in your care and listens and responds professionally and straight to the point. Many docs act like paternalistic authority figures with a false sense of entitlement which discourages dialogue. Not her. Likewise, I don't see her subordinating herself to those who exhibit entitlement or who treat doctors like second-class citizens and disposable help. All of the preceding "bad" reviews are shocking and suspect to me. This doc and everyone in her practice are the most top-notch I've ever found

One of the other reviews said it best-Dr. Piccone made me feel like I was an inconvenience to her. To be in a profession where some women feel very vulnerable I don't know why she couldn't show at least a little kindness. I left feeling uneasy, upset and unheard. She didn't seem to take me seriously or have any concern for the issue I came in for.

There is no words to explain on how best is . She has done a miracle for me . I was told that I couldn’t have a successful pregnancy but she did it and saved my baby and me . Today I have my babies only becoz of her. She is not less then a god for me . Thank you doctor for everything you did for me.. highly recommend she does her job beyond expectations. I have been seeing Dr. Picone for about 11 years now. She is the most caring, kind and gentle doctor I have ever seen. She is very thorough in her exams and I would not hesitate to put my health in her care. She always takes the time to answer my questions. I would definitely recommend her.

I had a great experience with Dr. Piccone. I was able to get in for a last minute issue (without first being an established patient). She's not all warm and fuzzy, but she got to my issue and explained what was going on. Also, the front desk staff is wonderful - it was very easy to make an appointment and they were very nice.

I absolutely love Dr Piccone. She is so professional and thorough. She is the type of doctor that will get to the bottom of your issues. I would no hesitate recommend her.

The negative comments R ridiculous. She's not ur gf, ur not going 2 grab a sandwich after ur exam. I've been a patient for 2yrs. She's not chatty.. b/c she's focused on her job... You! I havnt been an Ob patient, just gyn. She's very smart, focused, & always answers questions I have. I had a questions about a prescription.. She went through options w/ me & explained the pros & cons of each. I picked dr piccone b/c staff said they'd see her if they were sick. I can See why. A+++

The strangest OBGYN checkup I have ever had. She was not interested at all in creating rapport, polite conversation, or even pretending to care. I felt like she hated her job and I was an inconvenience to her.

I had my first prenatal visit with Dr. Piccone. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoughtfully and realistically. I really felt comfortable speaking with her and felt that she was a very good doctor. I am choosing this practice based on my experience with Dr. Piccone.
