Online Reviews Breakdown
List of Daniel S Guilfoil Md's Reviews
After having my second child, my husband and I knew we wanted to start trying for our third and final child as soon as it was healthy and safe. I told the nurse at my 6 week follow up I was not interested in birth control. The office was loud so when she went out to brief Dr. Guilfoil about my visit, she told him no BC. He laughed and said “so I guess we’ll see her back in a few months” loud enough to be heard through the walls. He then came in and questioned my desire for no BC and was very judgemental about my husband’s and my desire for another child after admitting he doesn’t even have children. It was so uncomfortable and I vowed to leave the practice after that visit. Hahnemann closing made that quick.
Very incompetent doctor. He incorrectly diagnosed my condition and because of that made me lose an ovary. If he had listened to the resident who suggested the correct diagnosis early on instead of brushing the resident off, then my ovary could have been saved. Also, from speaking with other ob/gyn physicians, they said they would've gone through the proper tests to correctly diagnose my condition which he didn't do. I wouldn't trust this doctor to take care of my health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
