Dr Laske is a tremendously wonderful ,yet humble neurosurgeon. He performed neurosurgery on both my cervical and lumbar spine. I met Dr Laske at a time when I was unable to walk Secondary to tremendous pressure on my spinal cord. I am able to walk today thanks to the skilled hands of Dr Laske!

Dr Laske… he is what the older generation calls “A Straight Shooter”! Within less than 2 months, my illness was diagnosed, treated with an operation, and have been given a positive follow visit that cleared me to do 75% of my daily activities! If you are willing to trust a doctor, and follow his instructions .. Dr Laske is the doctor for you!

Most neurosurgeons would have pushed for the surgery , while Dr Laske took the time to wait u til it was absolutely necessary to have any surgical procedures completed . He was very sympathetic and his team and hospital affiliations are all the best . I was an inpatient at the Abington Hospital and they made me feel at home and were very good at working together as a team to make me feel comfortable . I have been inpatient at other hospitals and Abington is the best that I have ever had. Highly recommended for neurosurgery and any spine issues.

Dr Laske pretty much laughed at me. And told me "He would note that in my file" What ever that meant? But maybe you should think about that Dr Leske. I got hurt volunteering 16 years ago. "L5S1 Desiccation with right central extrusion causing impingement on the traversing right S1 nerve root in the lateral recess". During these 16 years i maintained a physical therapy regimen and intense athletic level exercises in order to keep my back in good working order and to stay healthy. The entire reason why im seeing Dr Laske is because i have experienced a flair up in august which caused nerve damage. Dr Laske's logic, is more focused on managing the pain. I pushed 16 years without facet blocks! Ill push to the very end without them! My rationale however is to take the compression off the nerve so that i can prevent any additional damage as my symptoms are rapidly progressing since my flair up in august. But Dr Laske didnt want to help! Thanks Dr Laske! Dr Laske walked out and laughed at me in the other room. Rothman Orthopedic Specialists however tried to request an URGENT out of network authorization to perform a microdiscectomy but my insurance rejected it.
